Emily's pov

"Aunt Emily, what is love?" Zoë asks me

"It's when you would do anything for someone"

"Like giving them a piece of chocolate?"

"Ehh...yes exactly. Love is giving someone a piece of chocolate" I giggle

"Do you ever give Aunt Ali chocolate?"

"All the time. Why?" I smile, bopping her cute button nose

"Mommy told Daddy she loves him but I wanted to know how she knew" she innocently smiles

"Zoë love isn't about giving chocolate. Love is when you would die for someone" Carson tells her

"Die?"

"Yes. Do you love your mom?"

"Yeah" she smiles

"Well you need to die for her to prove it. If you don't die there's no proof that you love her"

"Carson Caleb Rivers! Leave Zoë alone" Alison shouts

"Zoë, love comes in many different forms. When you get older you will realise that love is an indescribable and amazing feeling and that you can love many people, in different ways. The love your mommy and daddy share is very special, it's true love" Alison smiles as she stares lovingly at me

"Like Snow White and Prince Charming?"

"Exactly. True love"

"Snow White isn't married to Prince Charming. Cinderella is"

"Grace, that is not helpful right now" Alison scoffs with laughter

"Aunt Alison how did you and Aunt Emily fall in love?" Leo sweetly asks

"Well that's a long story" she smiles, sitting Conrad in the middle of her crossed legs

"I took a long time to admit that I love your Aunt Emily, but truthfully I fell in love with her the second we met"

"How did you meet?" Lily asks

"How did you all meet?" She continues

Ali's pov

"How did you all meet?"

Lily's question sends my memory back to the day I first met my best friends. I remember the day as if it was yesterday, although I'm too embarrassed to admit that I am so sentimental.

"Alison honey, wake up. It's your first day of middle school" my mom cheered as she stood at the end of my bed with a huge grin on her face

I excitedly jumped out of bed. This was the day I had been waiting for; the day I could assemble the perfect group. Over the summer I had watched every high school film I could, taking notes on how to become the queen bee. Everything every queen bee had in common was a gang of minions, I had decided that 5 is the perfect number because when I walked down the halls I could be at the front with two other girls at each side, following behind me. I had also picked out the perfect mean girl outfit and a bag in which I held in the crease of my arm.

When I arrived at the school the principal was waiting at the doors to escort the 7th graders to the cafeteria. I looked around the canteen trying to find my first victim, everyone looked so basic until out the corner of my eye I saw a girl with her head buried in a book. I smirked before walking towards her, I flicked my hair over my shoulder to try gain people's attention.
