5 months later

Ali's pov

"Ali where are you?" Jen groans down the phone

"In my house. Why?"

"My water just broke"

"Fuck" I mutter with fear

"Emily, Jennifer's water broke" I shout out to her

"I'm in my house. I can't move" she screams in pain

"We'll be right there" I tell Jen, hanging up my phone and tell Em that we have to leave

"What about the girls?" Emily asks

"I have an idea"

I race out my house and sprint to the Hastings. Banging frantically on the door I almost punch Mrs Hastings as she opens it

"Alison, is everything okay?"

"Our surrogate has gone into labour. We need to go now but we can't leave the girls can you look after them until we are back, or you can phone Spencer and wait with them until she comes? We have to go" I breathlessly say; so fast that I am surprised she understood a single word I said

"Of course. I'll be right over. Alison, you and Emily go meet your baby boy and make sure that he isn't in this world for a single second before you see him" Mrs Hastings sniffs

I could tell that she was still upset about Spencer finding out she was adopted. I could tell that she needed someone to remind her that even though she isn't biological Spencer's mother, she is still her mom and that Spence loves her with all her heart. But I didn't have time, my son was coming into the world and I wasn't going to miss it; so instead I ran back to my house grabbed the car keys and Emily before driving to Jennifer's house, leaving our princesses with Veronica

Emily's pov

"Shit, the doors locked. Em what do we do?"

"I'll knock the door down" I tell her, walking backwards to get a head start

"But you are going to hurt yourself. Remember last time at Cindy's, you ended up on the floor"

"Mindy"

"Uck Cindy, Mindy same person. How am I supposed to remember who it was?"

"You should remember because we fucking murdered her"

"Emily keep your voice down, unless you've forgotten, our baby boy is being born right now so we need to get into that house and help Jennifer"

I nod before throwing my body against the door and just as Ali anticipated I end up on the floor

"Move" Ali says, picking me off the ground before kicking the door off it's hinges

"What the fuck was that?" Jen shouts

"Ali just fly-kicked your door...but it doesn't matter, we are here now"

Ali and I run through the house towards the bathroom where Jennifer lies

"Oh shit, I can see his head" Alison panics, turning white as if she's going to faint

"Weren't you the one who had your twins? Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Jen asks, through the pain of her contractions

"Yeah. I've given birth before but I've never watched it" Ali says, now turning slightly green

Ali's pov

"Get a grip of yourself" I tell myself as Jennifer crushes Emily's hand

"You bitches better be grateful" Jennifer screams at us as Emily plays midwife

"I watched Ali giving birth, I know what to do...kind of. Alison get towels"

I rush to the cupboard and grab as many towels as I can find, resting them on the floor before phoning the ambulance for an update

Jennifer throws my phone across the restroom as she tightly grips onto my hand. Emily turns white with pain as Jen crushes every bone in our hands

"Someone has to help him out" Jennifer tells us

Em and I both awkwardly smile at each other both politely letting the other hold our son first

"I held both girls first, you take him Em"

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely" I smile, leaning over to kiss her cheek

"No I could Ali, you do the honours"

"Can one of you bitches just help?" Jen screams

"Oh fuck, yeah sorry"

Jennifer's screams become muted and the world around me pauses from what seems like a decade before my ears pop from the sound of my son's first cries. Jennifer releases her grip of my hand. A single tear falls down Emily's cheek, and a half formed smile emerges on her face before becoming a grin. I laugh with joy as my throat becomes chocked up with emotion.

Emily's pov

"Would either of you like to do the honours?" A paramedic asks as she is ready to cut the umbilical cord

"No, I'll probably do it wrong"

"I'm okay" Alison awkwardly laughs

"Okay. Here is your son" she smiles, holding him out to me

I stretch out my arms and I cradle my son in my arms. Alison's head falls onto my shoulder as her eyes lock onto his face. The ambulance crew take Jen into another room to check on her, leaving us crying with joy while cradling our beautiful baby boy

"He's perfect" Alison sniffs

"He looks just like you" one of the paramedics says to Ali "oh sorry to interrupt" he says leaving the room

I look down to our baby who is cradle in my arm. His light blue eyes sparkle back at me, as his pale skin reflects of off mine

"Em don't listen to him, we can't be sure. I mean look at the gir..."

"Alison I don't care who's egg was used, we will never find out and I never what to because no matter who's egg was used. We are both his mothers"

"Just like we are both Lily and Grace's mom" Alison smiles, kissing his tiny forehead

"Let's go home gorgeous" Alison says, getting to her feet and taking our son out my arms before helping me off the floor

I wrap my arm over her shoulder as she cradled our new born in her arms

Ali's pov

Emily unbuckles his travel cot and delicately carries him from the car to our house

"Welcome home" I smile, looking down at our son who is blowing bubbles in his sleep

I unlock the door to find Lily, Grace and Spencer snuggled up on the sofa as they sleep. Spencer wakes when she hears the door open and wakes the girls up. They sprint towards us and I hold my finger up to my lips telling them to be quite

"Grace, Lily meet your brother"

They both stare lovingly at their baby brother,
grinning ear to ear

"Spence meet your nephew, Emerson Wayne DiLauretis-Fields"

"Hello Emerson" Spencer tearily says before leaving us alone, as a family

Emily's pov

"Emerson this is your bedroom" Alison says, placing him in the crib at the bottom of our bed

"For now" I giggle, handing him his teddybear

"How did I get so lucky?" Alison asks as we watch over our son

"I'm the lucky one" I blush

"Emily everyday I wake up, I smile, because it's another day I get to spend with you. When I first told you I loved you I didn't think I could love you anymore, but you have given me more that I ever expected to have...you have given me a family. Emily Catherine Fields-DiLaurentis, I will never love another person with as much intensity as I love you"
