Three nights of dreams and joy and now I'm back to a life of sorrow and misery.

I left Lost my slipper in the hopes he'd try to find me.

But maybe he wouldn't.

"Ann! You have a chance with the prince! That girl's slipper fell off and the prince wants to find her via slipper!"

I had to hide my excitement.

"Mmm." Stas groaned as his sister squealed. I continued cooking.

Act natural, Ells.

"Don't blow it, Ann." my step mother warned.

"I won't, Mum."

But she isn't my shoe size. So she won't win my Lost's heart.

My Lost? He isn't mine. He's a friend.

A friend who is incredibly attractive.

Don't think about it, Ells.

"Cinderells! Don't stand there, serve us!"

I wanted to scream no.
But I couldn't. And I hated that I couldn't.

"Sorry."

,.,

Slowly but surely, the prince came to my house. I was covered in cinders from cleaning and lighting fireplaces.

It has to be a disappointment after my dresses from earlier. Lost probably won't recognize me.

Knowing my luck, he'll be disgusted and leave.
He didn't seem like the type to do that. He was too nice...like me.

I watched as Ann tried to put my glass slipper on. She failed, obviously.

Stas denied wearing my gowns and my step mother was too old.

"Anyone else?" Lost asked.

"No, just our servan-"

"I'm not your servant. I'm your stepson." I muttered. No one heard me. I bit my lip, trying to convince myself to step out.
I dusted myself one final time and walked out.

"Hello." I said, holding my breath. Lost stared into my eyes, searching deep inside them.

A smile covered his face. He recognized me.

"Will you try on this glass slipper, sir?" he asked, grinning. I nodded, sitting down.

"He's just our servant." Ann said, shaking her head. "His name is Cinderells."

The slipper fit perfectly. I held back tears as I saw Lost's eyes brighten.

"I-Impossible!" my stepmother gasped.

"Listen. I own this house and all the money in it." I said, turning to her. "Get out."

My step family was silent. Lost looked impressed at how I snapped at them.

"Good job, love. You saved yourself." Lost whispered, taking my hands.

"I did. You must be my good luck charm." I whispered back.

,.,

We walked through the woods we first met at.

"So." Lost muttered, blushing.

"What are we?" I asked.

"Not sure."

"What do you want us to be?"

"Well, I have an older brother. He can be king, and I can be your husband." Lost admitted. I felt my heart flutter.

"Was that a proposal?" I whispered.

"Yes...?" Lost chuckled. I chuckled as well, blushing.

"I would accept but I don't know your name." I teased.

"Hm? Oh, me. You guessed my name." Lost chuckled. I laughed, covering my mouth.

"I was right?"

"I've told you, we're meant to be." Lost chuckled.

"Well, Prince Lost, I accept this proposal." I giggled.

Lost leaned closer, his purple eyes sparkling.

"May I have this dance?" he murmured.

"Yes." I murmured back.

We danced to the sound of nature. At the end of our made up song, we just laughed as we looked at each other.

"May I have this kiss?" Lost asked, his voice light and teasing.

"Of course." I answered, grinning.

We kissed, a shy kiss between a delivery boy and a wood nymph.
