Florence had woken up at 6 and gotten ready for the day, before heading out into the living room. Severus had his seductive nose stuffed in a tattered purple book. He, of course, was seated in his usual chair. For a moment the man's eyes lingered on his female guest before returning his gaze to the pages that held him captive.
Two weeks had slowly fluttered away. Florence was still staying at Severus' knowing Adam's master was still on the loose, and probably as determined as ever to make Florence sorry for escaping. But after all it was nice to be in the unpredictable wizard's company in the sense that ever since she'd been captured and after losing Gabriel he didn't treat her like some fragile child. She didn't know if he ignored it on purpose or if he didn't think she deserved any special treatment but either way it was appreciated by the witch.
The witch wandered over to the mini kitchen and helped herself to a pan and began to cook. She fried potatoes and then after she plopped eggs in the pan. She looked up in time to see him watching her incredulously. She gave him a look of confusion. He smirked, returning to the book. After a while she realized it was that she had been cooking without magic.
Florence set out two plates with cups and silverware. Severus took it as his cue to walk over to the small island, still he was very surprised that she hadn't only made food just for herself.

Snape just about finished all the enchantments keeping intruders out, and to Florence's annoyance, keeping her in. He pulled the door open.

"Do you have to go. Can't I come in, I'll be incredibly helpful and I won't be annoying."

"I highly doubt that last part...."

She glared. He seemed to ponder the idea for a fragment of a second. Then he left. She rushed to the door before he could shut it, but she was to late. She rattled the door in the sliver of a chance that it be unlocked.
The only thing the witch could do, without getting in trouble, was read some books. Luckily time passed fast enough from the time she made a lunch to the time he came home.
It was late by the time the door opened. She knew it'd likely be him but she made no mistake and pulled out her wand aiming at at the door. Severus came in and rolled his eyes at the sight, but in actuality he was glad she was always ready in case it hadn't of been him. Florence put down her wand, as her mouth still clutched a pen and her fingers embraced one of his books.

He couldn't help but appreciate how gorgeous she looked in casual clothes and untended hair. It took all the effort to look away. She raised an eyebrow. From where she was coming from it seemed as though he was judging her. He felt a ping in his heart when he perceived her giving him a disgusted look. Both looked away, disguised hurt hidden in their faces from their misperceptions.
He walked to the table near the couch and heavily set down a foot-high, stack of student's papers. She helped herself to them and a quill. He sat down with an entirely new set of essays to grade. Their pens worked until the wee hours of the morning. Florence could barely keep her head up at the end.
