CHAPTER -12-

JIMIN'S P.O.V

The last week flew by.

I attended college everyday.

I'm glad at the progress I'm making.

After a long time it feels like it's okay.

After a long time it feels like everything will be alright.

I am thankful.

I often drift off into memories. And either end up breaking down or just feeling content.

It's okay now.

I'm okay now.

It's Ara's birthday in two days.

Rose, Tae and I had planned out an amazing surprise for her.

I don't feel like carrying it out without the two of them.

I'll probably buy her a cute bracelet and get her a cake.

I mean I owe her a lot.

She only knew the us for about 2-3 months.

She could've easily moved away after the accident.

But she didn't.

She stayed with me.

Helped me throughout.

I'm not sure if I would be in this state if not for her.

Her silent support really helped me through this.

I really owe her.

In a way, I think I love her.

Like I loved Rose and Tae.

She was there for me.

She didn't push me.

She didn't force me to open up.

She let me take my time.

She made sure I didn't do anything stupid.

She made sure that I stayed healthy.

I owe her everything.

-The Next Day-

It's almost 12.

I'm outside Ara's room with the cake.

The cake looks really cute.

It's a light shade of pink with 'Happy Birthday Ara' written with a darker shade of pink and 'Lots of love from Rose, Tae and Jimin' written in black.

To top it all there's a simple pink and black candle in the middle.

The clock struck twelve and I opened the door.

It revealed a figure tangled up in blankets.

Her cheeks were tear stained.

I immediately placed the cake on a table and sat by her side.

I slowly shook her awake.

Her pillow was wet.

It looks like she cried herself to sleep.

She opened her eyes and broke into a wide smile on seeing me.

I ran to the table and picked up the cake.

"Happy birthday Ara!" I lightly sang as I took the cake to her.

She blew the candles leaving us in the dark for a second.

The light turned on to reveal a crying Ara.

She was sobbing as she said "Thank you"

She probably read the message on the cake -" Lots of love from Rose, Tae and Jimin"

I knew it was a sensitive topic. And that it might made us sad but I just couldn't bear to leave them out.

She was smiling widely while tears ran down her face.

She got up to embrace me in a hug.

I kept the cake aside and returned the embrace.

This is when I learnt that she was hurting just as much as I was.

This was hard on her too.

YOUR P.O.V

I was awakened by a smiling Jimin who had a pretty pink cake in his hand.

He was wishing me Happy Birthday.

I ended up crying myself to sleep, again and just completely forgot!

I read the message on the cake it said - 'Happy Birthday Ara' written in a shade of pink and 'Lots of love from Rose, Tae and Jimin' written in black.

I blew the candle and managed to stammer out a -"Thank you" between my sobs.

Lots of love from Rose, Tae and Jimin.

That really got to me.

I got up from my bed and pulled Jimin into a hug.

He was crying now too.

I was going to try and subdue my tears when I realised it's okay.

It's okay to be weak for a moment.

Both of us remained in that position.

I could feel his warm tears falling on my shirt.

I pulled out of the hug.

I picked up the cake and said - "hey it's party time!" (A/N TAE- LET'S GO PATTAY. TURN UP)

I moved out of my room along with the cake, beckoning him to come into the front room with me.

I placed the cake on a table and pushed Jimin down on the sofa.

I placed the remote in his hand and said choose a movie. I'll whip up something for us to eat.

I moved to kitchen opened shelf after shelf looking for something easy to cook.

I ended up calling up the all-night pizza place and ordering some stuff.

I kept the phone and opened the refrigerator to get some soda out.

I felt a presence in the kitchen and turned around.

"Thank you so much Ara. You stuck with me through this. You helped through this. I owe you a lot. I- umm R- Rose , Tae and I- um we had planned out a huge thing for you. I just want to tell you they l-loved you as much as you love t-them. As much as I love you."

"Jimin, don't thank me. We helped each other through this. And this surprise was exactly what I needed right now. They'll always be in my heart too Jimin. I love you too. Where else would I be if not with you? Anyways, did you pick out the movie? I gave up on cooking and ordered pizza" I said with a chuckle.

"I picked 'Leap Year'. I've watched it before and it's absolutely hilarious."

"Ooh so I have I! Matthew McGoode is one good looking man"

"Oh please! Amy Adams is 800 times better". (A/N ITALICS IS JIMIN)

The bell rang, "it must be the pizza".

We spent the rest of the night laughing and eating.

We ended up sleeping at around 5.

Guess who isn't attending college tomorrow!

A/N THEY'RE KIND OF GETTING TO NORMAL NOW YAY. ALSO WHEN JIMIN SAYS HE LOVES HER HE MEANS IN A TOTALLY THANKFUL NOT LOVER TYPE OF WAY.
