Chapter:42

[3RD PERSON POV.]

Haneul had never thought she would be standing infront of his apartment after all the things they have been through lately.Jimin had already made sure that Taehyung was all alone before leaving with Seojung.Haneul who was left alone stared at the apartment door with several doubts in mind.

It's so ironic for her,back then taehyung used to be infront of her apartment like this but today she's here with thousands of thoughts having a battle within herself.She had mixed feelings,couldn't get any word to describe the state she was right now.

When Jimin told her everything,a pang of guilt hit her chest hard.She couldn't help but blame herself for being so naive.Seojung was sure a girl who managed to knock some senses in her,if it wasn't for her,Haneul would've already ran away from them一from him.Though a part of her was suffocating,she was determined to make everything alright,everything back to normal.

She wanted him back.

Suddenly a newfound courage made her ring the door bell.Her heart beat was drumming so loud in her chest,she couldn't help but ring the door bell continuously.After some shuffling and noises inside the apartment,taehyung managed to open the door.When he saw her infront of him,his eyes widened as if they will come out from his sockets any second.

But Haneul didn't waste time in looking at his shocked expression instead engulfed him in her embrace.His hands were shaking with her sudden action but he managed to hug her back.She cried in his warm embrace before tightening her grip around him,his embrace was her solace she missed alot.Both couldn't deny the hug was something they longed for,having each other this close was something they've never imagined after separating their ways.The simple word hug isn't just being in someone's embrace,it is the feeling of being safe and protected no matter what the situation is,it is something that gives you comfort.

"Haneul!what happened?"he managed to ask her in that position.

"You happened,taehyung."She replied letting him go with her teary eyes.

"I'm so-"

"Jimin told me everything."

"Han-"

"You know you're being an asshole but I still love you."she smiled looking at the guy whose bewilderment was visible all over his face.

He was about to say something but was cut off when her soft lips met his abruptly.Taehyung was sure baffled at her sudden move but their lips managed to move in sync.He pulled her inside making her back hit the wall.It's so unlike of her to close their distance and initiate a kiss but it was the kisses like this she lived for,she placed her hands on nape of his neck while he snaked his arms around her waist pulling her closer.It's been so long they hadn't kissed each other so they were going to savour every second of it.He would be lying if he said he didn't miss having her this close,having to hold her like this and to be able to kiss her.

"I love you."he managed to say breathlessly after they pulled away and he mean it.Their forehead resting in each others,eyes staring and hands intertwined by now.

They both smiled looking at each other,no words were needed to explain what they are truly feeling inside.

His gaze then shifted to her lips,he smirked before closing their distance again.
