His Love

Chapter 3

"Hello Everyone!" Meadow tapped on her glass a few times and stood up. She tapped the microphone Nolan handed her.

"Is this thing on babe?" She asked Nolan. He nodded. "Oh great! Everyone gather around. So to announce the baby we are going to have my dear friend Hunter jump out of an airplane and when he opens her parachute we'll see what gender the baby is." She announced. My mouth fell open. I looked over at Hunter who literally didn't even look fazed.

"Now come on the plane is waiting." She pushed Hunter along to the field right by where the baby shower was taking place.

Everyone watched as Hunter set up in the harness and everything else. The professionals guided him into the plane and soon they were up in the sky.

A bit later we were told Hunter was coming down in a few minutes. Everyone seemed to be on the edge of their seat as they saw the two men jump out of the plane.

Not too long later the parachute opened and it was blue. Meadow and Nolan were smiling ear to ear as they hugged each other.

When he reached the ground, he got out of the harness as fast as he could. Meadow was laughing and crying at the same time.

"Come on let's go inside they are doing the cake." Meadow came over to me.

When we got inside, we all had cake or ice cream if you didn't like cake. I snuck a little of both, ice cream and a big slice of cake.

"You think you got enough ice cream there babe?" Joe asked and laughed when I sat down next to him. He was eating his smaller piece of cake.

"Nope. I think I need a little more." I smiled and started eating my cake.

"Got enough there Amore?" Hunter asked and sat down in his seat. I forgot he sat here. Brynn sat down next to him. She grabbed her napkin and set it down on her lap, made sure to pull herself to the table just enough, and organized her eating area.

"I think you should let a girl or guy eat whatever he or she wants with no judgment. Hunter." She commented after she got situated. Hunter hummed in response.

"How was it, Hunter?" Joe asked as he cut into his cake some more.

"I wouldn't say jump. I was attached to someone who jumped. Also, it's not like I had a choice anyway."

"True maybe we should do it Bella after the baby comes!" Brynn exclaimed with a wide smile on her face.

"Maybe Brynn." I smiled but inside I knew it was not happening.

"Great, I'll set it up sometime."

"Well let's talk about something else then," Joe said trying to avert the conversation to something else.

"So how's your pregnancy going Bella?" Brynn asked. Really wanted to avoid this but here we go.

"It's been alright. I'm due in a month."

"Do you know the gender?"

"I'm waiting until the thing comes out," I laughed and looked over to Joe for some help but he didn't seem to notice.

"Who's the father?" Hunter asked. I gave him a look meanwhile he looked like he had just won.

"It's-"

"Well, it's obviously Joe," Brynn said.

"Actually Brynn-" Joe started.

"It's Hunter."
