Chapter 15

Hunter's POV

I may be cool and collected on the outside but inside every bit of my body is buzzing with excitement. She actually kissed me back.

"Hunter," Bella started as she tried to catch her breath. "We should get back I don't want to leave Eli with them for too long." I nodded and took her glass from her.

"Gonna get us more I'll meet you at our seats." She nodded and walked away from me. The feeling of her lips on mine still there. I still can't believe that just happened.

Bella's POV

I walked away from him and towards Eli. There's no way that just happened. I couldn't believe it.

"Thank you for watching him," I smiled at them and picked up Elijah. Then I walked towards the tables that were starting to fill up.

I found a good one right in the front and center where Meadow and Nolan would also be sitting. I sat Eli in my lap and gave him a towel napkin to play with. Hunter soon came and sat down next to me. Neither of us said anything about what had just happened.

Meadow and Nolan soon joined us at their table and made it quite known how much they drank.

"Bella you have no idea how good those drinks are at the bar. You have to try one." Meadow put her hand on my shoulder and laid her head down on it. I just laughed and said no.

"I would but i got a baby to look after." She looked sad but still understand. That's good at least. Everyone else started to make their way into the room and take their seats. Dinner would be out soon and then was the speeches. God knows i'm just gonna wing it.

Meadows parents were in the table right next to us and had Parker with them. If only that boy understood what they're parents were doing over here. That'd be interesting.

"So i'd just like to thank Meadow for always being there for me even during my worst." Lenny raised his glass and blew a kiss at Meadow who was tearing up after his speech. I would too except i didn't even get to experience half the things with them.

Everyone clapped as Lenny made his way back to our table. And could you guess it was my turn next. I stood up and Lenny gave the microphone to me.

"Honestly I don't even know where to begin with you Meadow," I laughed and she did too. "I can't believe you're married now and we were just tiny first graders the other day. I swear time goes way too fast nowadays. I won't tell some embarrassing story because we'll she definitely has some stuff of me too. I'm so happy that you were able to find Nolan and you'll have such an amazing future with him. I wish the best for both of you and Parker."

Meadow and Nolan looking so happy together right now was enough to make me shed a single tear.

It really didn't go to bad other than the fact that it was 2 seconds long.

I handed the microphone off to one of Nolan's relatives and they began their speech. I sat back down next to Hunter who was trying to keep Elijah calm and still listen to everyone.
