Chapter 11

"Don't worry I have everything Joe." I laughed and finished sipping my suitcase shut. I had to pack for like a month's vacation and yes doing laundry was an option but I still, need all of these outfits.

"I just want to make sure. Don't need you rushing back for one pair of shoes." We both laughed as he handed me Elijah's baby carrier.

"I wish you could come," I frowned still trying to convince him that had been a frequent routine now.

"You know why I can't but I'll be here when you get back."

"I know I know. Eli where are you?" I looked around and saw him sitting on the floor with a toy heading straight for his mouth. "No no don't eat that Eli."

I picked him up quickly and took the toy away. He looked sad but didn't cry. Surprisingly after the first few months, he didn't continue crying as much.

I heard the cab outside and Joe helped me put everything into it.

"I'll call as much as I can and I'll see you when I get back," I kissed Joe before getting into the car. He waved goodbye before going back into the house.

The whole flight was smooth thank god. I could not survive the embarrassment of a crying baby the whole flight. Once I got to the hotel I just wanted to fall asleep forever. Of course, Elijah just had to be starving though.

We went to a store to pick up some baby food quickly. He's been eating so much it's not even funny.

As soon as Elijah was done eating I got a call from Hunter.

"Bella."

"Hunter." I copied his monotone voice.

"Don't mock me. We're you going to tell me you were back in America with my son."

"I mean eventually. We just got off the plane three hours ago."

"Where are you staying? I will be reserving a room and you two are to come to join me. I want to spend time with my son." He commanded. Who does he think he is?

"I'll send you the details."

"Great thank you." He hung up before I could get another word. This man I swear.

An hour later there was a knock on my door. Surprise surprise it was Hunter. He walked right past me and to Elijah who was sound asleep on the bed.

"Well, yea come right on in." I laughed and shut the door quietly.

"I missed him. And you too I guess." He said sitting next to Elijah. He couldn't keep his eyes off.

"How have you been?" I asked and sat next to him.

"Pretty good the company is-"

"No how are you. Not the company."

"Oh, pretty stressed honestly but I feel better now."  I took a deep breath before saying what I was about to.

"Listen Hunter I've been thinking and I'm thinking of moving back to America. I know you just started your international company but-"

"Yes. I'd give anything to just see my son more than once every other month or so."  I didn't know what to say after that so we both stayed silent for a majority of the night just being in each other's presence.
