Nearly two weeks after Dolores had stormed out of Cristiano and Nicole’s home and vowed not to be involved in her son’s wedding because of the brunette’s religion; it had become clear that the Portuguese wasn’t going to back down anytime soon.
Lucky for Cristiano, his siblings didn’t care about Nicole not being catholic and had confirmed their attendance to the wedding.
Katia and Elma were currently spending the day with Nicole, while their spouses looked at the children for the day; the women were determined to spend more time with their future sister-in-law and knew that everything was going to be fine.
“We’re so sorry about Mãe,” Katia said as they were seated for lunch, Nicole smiled knowing that they understood what Nicole was going through; Elma hadn’t wanted a church wedding until Dolores had guilt tripped her into it.
Elma understood that her mother only wanted what was best for her children, but sometimes she just went around it the wrong way.
“It’s okay… I actually had a question for you both,” Nicole said smiling making Cristiano’s sisters nod curious about what the brunette had to say; they hoped it was some good news since the past few weeks had been very stressful for her.
“I would like the two of you to be bridesmaids at my wedding,” she asked making the two women squeal before they jumped up and hugged the brunette.
They hadn’t been expecting Nicole to say anything like that especially since they knew she already had Alexis and Vera as two of her bridesmaids.
After they had set down, the three women couldn’t stop grinning even if they were now being stared at by several of the other people in the restaurant; the wedding was certainly a hot topic for the press that were desperate to know what was going on.
“So you’ll be joining Vera as my bridesmaids, Alexis is going to be my maid-of-honour and my niece Isabel is a flower girl,” Nicole told them as their lunch was brought out, she couldn’t believe that she was going to marry Cristiano in a few short months.
The waitress glared at Nicole making Elma and Katia laugh slightly, it was never something they got used to seeing; peopled judge them because of their relationship with Cristiano and they judged the brunette more so because she was now engaged to him.
“Okay when are we going dress shopping?” Elma asked as she took some tomatoes off her sandwich, Nicole sighed and pulled out her planning journal making Katia smirk knowing how much of a nightmare it was to organise a wedding.
The two sisters had been sort of grateful for the fact that they not only had each of when they had planned their weddings but they had their mother as well; Nicole unfortunately had neither and they knew she’d need their help.
“I’m meeting with Alexis and Vera later to look at some dresses… and I hope you don’t mind but the colour scheme is dark purple and white,” Nicole said making the two sisters nod before they shared a look.
They had every intention of attending and they were going to help their future sister as much as possible with her wedding plans.

The afternoon was spent searching around several bridal shops to find the perfect dresses for the bridesmaids, with very little luck occurring as the five women tried to decide on a dress that they all liked.
The group decided to head to one last bridal store before they headed for dinner, when Alexis grinned and held out a purple ruched A-Line mini empire waist V-neck bridesmaid dress and looked at Nicole knowing that this one was perfect.
Nicole had already said that she wanted the four wearing the same dress, with the maid-of-honour’s only looking a little different from the rest so that she stood out.
Alexis hurried into the changing room to try on the dress so that Nicole could see what it looked like on while Vera tried to help Nicole decided what she wanted to wear for her wedding day; the brunette couldn’t decide how she wanted to look.
Nicole nibbled on her lip as she sat down while Katia and Elma checked that they had the dress in all of their sizes, they needed to make sure that they all looked okay in the dress that Alexis was trying on.
“Aren’t you glad, you two have a joint account now,” Katia teased as she checked the price tag, she knew her brother had insisted that whatever he had was the brunette’s and had created a joint account just after they had gotten engaged.
The couple’s entire savings were now kept in that account and Nicole had to admit that it was times like this that she was grateful that the account existed.
“So am I,” Nicole replied knowing how expensive this wedding was becoming as Alexis skipped back into changing room and did a twirl, the brunette nodded her head before Katia ushered the others into the changing room so that they could all try the dress on.
The brunette crossed her fingers hoping that all of them liked the dresses, it would be one less thing for her to worry about and she had already picked out her nieces dress; Isabel would be wearing a white A-line scoop tea-length purple sash flower girl dress.
It wasn’t long before the women returned and it was clear that they all liked the dress and it was a consensus that this would be the dress for them.

Nicole smiled as her best friend avoided the puffy dresses and grinned at someone behind Nicole, who found herself quickly blinded folded; she groaned knowing that she wasn’t going to like what they were doing.
“Don’t worry about it,” Elma chirped before she allowed Katia to lead Nicole to the changing room allowing her, Vera and Alexis to sort through the dresses until they founded the one they had spotted earlier when Nicole was talking with the shop assistant.
They grinned at one another before handing it to the shop assistant who disappeared into the changing room to help Nicole change; with the order of not letting Nicole see the dress yet.
“If she doesn’t buy this dress… I’ll kill her,” Alexis announced making the other women smile knowing that Nicole had been looking for the perfect dress for a month and had yet to find one.
The shop assistant appeared leading a still blind folded Nicole, making the other women smile as they saw her in the dress.
“Okay can I take the blindfold off now?” Nicole asked her fingers touching the lace of the dress that she was wearing, the women nodded to the shop assistant who removed the blindfold making Nicole blink slightly at the bright light.
The brunette opened her mouth to say something when she saw herself in the mirror, her mouth falling open at how she looked in the dress.
Katia grinned knowing that there was no way that Cristiano would be able to keep his hands to himself if this was the dress that Nicole wore on their wedding day.
“I think we’ve found it,” Vera said knowing that her friend had, had no idea what she wanted to wear for her big day and that was the reason that they had chosen the dress that she was now wearing; it looked perfect on her and it was clearly the dress for Nicole.
