I'm Always Going To Be Here At The End Of The Day

Lightning erupts in the distance, illuminating the night sky. In front of you are dozens of tall trees. Some fallen, while others flap loosely in the wind. The sounds of thunder echos across the tops of the trees, making it sound like the gods were at war with each other in the sky. Rain quickly follows, but it didn't seem to bother you. You more occupied with the vicious creature lurking in the darkness around you.

You could hear the sound of leaves being crushed under feet as the dark figure crawled closer and closer. The creatures low growling breath gave away its location, as puffs of colored air contrasted against the black surroundings. Steadying yourself, you watch as the animal moves among the tree line like a lion would when stocking its prey. As much as you wanted to blot and run, something out of your control kept you still. The only protection was the small dragger place tightly in your pale, shaky hand.

It wasn't much, but at least it was something.

You breath hard, trying to relax your rapid heartbeat. What was once your advantage was now your downfall. Every time you blew out an unsteady breath, the air from your lungs gave away your hiding spot. It was as if your need of oxygen was a homing beacon for anything and everything that wanted to kill you.

The weather didn't help either. It was cold and wet. The thin fabric dress clinging to your body, doing very little to keep you warm, causing your whole body to shiver with every freezing drop of rain at hit your exposed skin.

What was even worse, was the gaping hole in the middle of your stomach. It made every slight movement painful and every breath more agonizing than the next. The white dress stained red also made you a walking target. Not only could the creatures smell your sweat and blood, but the moonlight made your body glow red in the dark.

You were walking meat.

Suddenly, the beast moves closer. Just enough for you to see its long antlers. They stuck out just like branches making it almost impossible to see from far away. Luckily, you were able to spot its tail. It swayed in the wind, the ever tip of it painted bright white so other possible mates would be able to recognize its mating call. You also had to cut it off in order to kill it.

You wouldn't call yourself an expert on strange creatures. You were only going on instinct and what your brothers, Sam and Dean, had drilled into your head after many years of tracking the only one left in existence. You never expected to actually find it, but now you were here, beaten and bloody, about to kill it.

Your only regret was going out into the woods alone without telling either of your brothers where you were going. You had left the motel furious, driving off in your car until a deer jumped out in front of you. Your car swerved, crashing into a tree. The last thing you remembered was the airbag blasting in your face and your world turning dark as you passed out in the front seat.

When you woke up, your clothes had been changed and your hair was perfectly braided down your spine. Surrounding you were five lit candles in the shape of a star. Your white dress had been ripped and stained with a mixture of dirt and blood. It was as if you were apart of some kind of satanic ritual, but how you were not dead was still a mystery to you. As you looked around some more, it seemed that the ritual had been cut short and the members had left you for dead in the middle of the dense forest.

You had been walking since mid-afternoon trying to navigate yourself through the woods. When nightfall came, the storm blew in. You weren't exactly sure when the gash across your stomach had appeared, but if your memory severed you right, the creatures you were, unfortunately, stuck with out here, moved at lightning speeds when attacking. They played tricks on the mind, making there catch go crazy before killing them.
