"Hey is that mommy's baby?" I whispered into the phone. There was rustling and music booming in the background. She must be in Shuri's studio.
"Ok, where's T'Challa?"
"Challa!" Juju hollered and my heart ached. I missed my baby so much.
"Hey, Leanna, your dad said he's trying to find a way to your house in the states."
"Now, why would he go and do a thing like that?" I shouted.
"He says it's not safe for your mom or your grandmother...giving the whole Klaue attack," T'Challa sighed.
"Alright, well y'all make sure my baby is protected!"
"Of course," T'Challa said. Erik rolled over in the bed and grabbed the phone out of my hand.
"Make sure she doesn't try to bring home one of those gadgets from Shuri. We don't need Juju climbing all over the walls," he said groggily. I chuckled and laid back down. Erik's chest slowly rose and fell behind me.
"Aight, man talk to y'all later." He tossed my phone at the end of the bed and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"What time is it?" I groaned.
"I don't know but go back to sleep."
