One year later
"So, Fury, What you're telling me is that the Avengers are disbanded?" I said pressing the phone up to my ear watching Erik try to plait Juju's hair. Poor baby just kept squirming and Erik tried to hold her head at bay. Juju squealed and looked at me with her brown doe eyes.
"Mama!" She said crying holding her arms out towards me. Erik looked up at me fiercely and squinted his eyes.
"I got this."
"You still there agent?" I had forgotten I was on the phone with Fury.
"Yeah...I'm just shocked that's all. They all seemed ok when we had that Klaue mole incident," I got up from the sofa and stretched.
"Well, nothing we can do now...Leanna?" Fury suddenly went quiet.
"What's up?"
"Something big is coming... I don't know what it is but keep your family safe."
"I already do," with that I hung the phone up and walked over to Erik and Juju. Juju's ponytails were lopsided and not to mention misplaced. One bun was on the right side of her ear while the other bun sat smack dab in the middle.
"Why you do my baby hair like this?" I joked. He threw up his arms and Juju ran to my me.
I picked her up and she clenched onto her deformed buns.
"Mama, Mama!"
"I know baby, I know daddy tried his best though he really did," I quickly undid her hair and fixed her buns. Juju ran to the floor length mirror, in our living room, and smiled. Erik wrapped his big arm around my neck and pulled me to the floor.
"What you doing today?" He asked whispering in my ear. I shot him a grin and he raised his eyebrows. Juju came out of nowhere and clocked Erik upside the head with one of her play set pots. Erik howled pretending to be hurt.
"Juju nooooo!" He said dramatically rolling on the floor. Juju ran over as fast as she could and swung the pot at him. Erik shielded himself and I tried not to laugh. Heat washed over my body and the room began to spin. I stood up from the ground and waited.
"Babe?" Erik said. Pressure moved from stomach to my throat. I jumped over the coffee table and into the bathroom locking the door behind me. I hurled up breakfast and groaned.
"Still got that stomach virus?" Erik yelled.
"Yeah," I said pitifully.

Wakanda

"...and Shuri, please, please do not let her get on the rhino," I said handing Juju over. Shuri quickly snatched my baby from me and ran off.
"I won't!" She managed to yell behind her. To make matters worse...Juju didn't even look back or blow me a kiss. She just ran off with Shuri.
"They'll be fine, Shuri and Juju get along quite well," T'Challa said. Okoye smirked behind him. We were standing in front of the entrance to the kingdom. Two lines of Dora Milaje beside us. Erik punched T'Challa on the shoulder and kicked him the ball.
"Ready to get your ass kicked?" Erik laughed.
"No, are you ready?" T'Challa grinned and they both ran off like little boys down to the grass fields.  M'Baku cleared his throat beside Okoye and she rolled her eyes.
"Go ahead," she sighed. M'Baku flung off his blanket and ran after T'Challa and Erik. We both laughed and sighed together. I looked at Okoye and she matched my stare.
"Men," We said in unison.
"Well, I'm going to head out to see my father," I said tucking my hands into my pocket. I walked into the kingdom and down into the reconstructed dungeon. My father was talking with a woman over a patch of grass.
"We can try and regrow it again...good job but next time remember to check on it on a daily basis." He said. I tripped on a small vine and stumbled causing them to raise up.
"My daughter," Zuri ran over and embraced me.
"How did it go with mom and Grandma?" I asked. He pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Your mother is just as dramatic as ever," he laughed. I sat down on the bench.
"She will come around I promise just give her more time."
"It has been a little over a year," he said.
"Well, mom's stubborn so it might be another year," I laughed. He shook his head.
"How's that boyfriend of yours?" He asked.
"My husband? He's great actually."
"And Julissa?"
"She will be here until the end of summer," I frowned remembering my baby going off without even a look back.
"She reminds me so much of you. She's a fighter and heavily protected."
"Without question, she's my only kid," I yawned. I watched the torch flicker in the corner.
"Are you sure?" Zuri asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes...you know you really got jokes today." I stood up and smiled.
"I'll see you later Dad."

NYC

"Erik, c'mon, I want to go back to the hotel I'm tired." We were walking around the mall. He was in search of something in particular. His locs were getting longer and he wanted a specific scarf to wear. I watched as he walked, the muscles in his back outlined in his tight white shirt. His locs were tied up into a bun on his head. I jogged up to keep up the pace and smacked his ass.
"Leanna." He paused. The people in the food court were staring at us. I smiled walking ahead as if nothing had happened.
"I don't know why you're upset babe...you got them cakes," I giggled and squealed as he began to run at me. I weaved in and out of the crowd and down the steps.
"Don't start nothing you can't finish!" He yelled from behind me. I stopped dead in my tracks watching the inside of a quick-mart.
"Gotcha," Erik wrapped his arms around me and I pointed up. On the news people were running away from some sort of circular ship suspended in midair.
"What is it?"
"Lets find out," Erik started. I gripped him s wrist. Fear prickling down my spine. All I could think about was Juju.
"Lets go back and get her," I said frantically.
"She's safe in Wakanda ...we are the ones that have to worry about it," Erik said and it kind of put me at ease. Suddenly, another spokes woman appeared and a picture of Stark flashed across the screen with 'MISSING' at the bottom.
"Oh shit this isn't good."
