I woke up to my phone going off.I sighed and fumbled for it.
Daddy make it stop Lana whined.
"Sh baby girl..daddy stopped it"I looked at the caller and seen it was my father.I swung my legs over the bed making Lana whine.
Daddy you promised she whimpered.
"I'll be right back baby girl"
"You always say that"
"I promise baby girl"
"Okay daddy"

'I'm fine son how are you and your flower'

"I was thrown under the bus.There was no getting caught they went to the police and I had no way of escaping plus it wasn't just me I was worried about."

Lana I yelled letting my phone fall to the floor as she tripped tumbling down the steps.

"Sh baby sh daddy's here he's going to get to make it better I promise"

"Okay daddy won't"We ate quietly and Lana sucked down her fruit punch as I washed the dishes.

"Because when I was very young he left Sammy and I without an explanation alone with our mother.She raised us by herself until I turned 18 then I started to form my own gang and found Caleb when he came back from Afghanistan.He asked to join if he could pass initiation.I agreed and I supported my mother as she did her thing and Sammy joined me like she used to helping with the finances and stuff all while doing hair and everything else"

Daddy she whined and I raised my brow.She stopped her whine and crossed her arms across my shirt that covered her breasts.I picked up her sippy cup and her small body setting her on my hip.She giggled and snuggled into me happily.
"Mm daddy I love you"
"I love you too baby girl"She sucked on her paci as I combed through her messy pigtails.She sat between my legs coloring away in her favorite animal coloring book.
Daddy look at the kitten she whispered and I turned to see she colored the kitten the same color as Nala.
"Do you miss Nala baby girl"
"Yes daddy but she was old so she happy now"
"Yes baby she is in a better spot"Lana nodded slowly and she moved onto her next picture.
Scary she whimpered flipping the page quickly.
"Baby girl"
"Yes daddy"
"Can daddy ask you a question"

"Do you want to meet daddy's father"

"We have dinner plans at 7 with dad are you coming"

"Of course"Daddy smiled at me and I puckered my lips.He stood and kissed me softly as Samantha got her curling iron ready.I whined as daddy pulled away softly.

Really daddy she giggled twirling in her royal blue dress.I growled and swooped her up making her squeal.

"Okay here we go"Lana fell silent again as we ate.I watched her intently as she chewed on her bottom lip.

Burnt hand she mumbled showing me her red fingers tips.
Hm be careful baby cut one open and it will cool faster I whispered.
You do please daddy she mumbled.
Please baby girl daddy needs you to be a big girl and we can get two desserts I whispered hoping to coax her.
Really she mumbled her blue eyes boring into mine.
"Yes really but you have to eat most of your dinner"
"Okay"She did as I advised slicing an empanada open.I ate my carne asada tacos and we all stayed silent for the most part and I was relieved.
