Avoid falsehood (Part 5)

Who Gets Allah’s Mercy? – Part 5

Please refer to the previous post for the first five categories of Ibad-ur Rahman.

Category #6:

And those who do not witness to falsehood & if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.

{Surat Al-Furqan 25: Verse 72}

•Ibad-ur Rahman are those who never witness false testimony (i.e to lie deliberately) nor useless company / conversations / activities. If they are exposed to these, then they leave it in a dignified way.

•To the youth, please pay attention carefully, Ibad-ur Rahman don’t hang out until two in the morning, talking nonsense. They don’t hang out with their friends to watch movies for hours. You know how we end up doing big sins? We started off by doing small sins.

•Some of us have friends who are engaged in sinful activities, like drinking or taking drugs and maybe have even offered to you. Try giving them advice & get them out of it. But if you can’t, get away from that company & save yourself, otherwise you’ll get messed up too.

•But at the same time we also have to respect our family, friends & others even if they’re doing the wrong things. Don’t embarrass them, don’t make a scene. We hate the sins, not the people who make the mistakes. If we’re giving them advice, give it in a respectful mannerl. Otherwise, leave it in a dignified manner.
