Rascal frowned deeply and leaned against the railing of the deck. He studied the floating card that showed the newcomers progress. He clutched his silver necklace tightly, holding the heart shaped pendant close to his own heart. He quickly dried the annoying tears away and searched for his generals.
Akaoni sat at the little table working on a little house of cards. Ulric sat in the corner, his gaze on the ground, as he thought. Majorina glared at nothing in particular.
"They are almost here. You know what their true goal is, they will stop at nothing to make sure we are wiped out completely. Go, destroy them.” He commanded. "And Ulric. I need to speak with you alone.” He added sternly and glared at the wolf.
Akaoni stood up a scared look flashing across his features before he left. Ulric's ears drooped as he walked after Rascal, still not able to meet the multi-colored haired man's eyes.
The witch trotted after the Troll, heading into battle.
Rascal led him to the deck and leaned against the railing. "Will you be able to do what is necessary when the time arrives?” The leader's voice was… soft and concerned as he played with his necklace.
Ulric leaned against the railing next to him, and glanced at Rascal. "Yes.” He said softly. His violet gaze once more turning to Rascal.
"Yes I will.” He said with more determination.
"Even if it means… fighting her or your... New friend?” The Jester kept his gaze down.
The dove grey wolf thought for awhile, searching through his feelings. "If I have to.” He said, barely above a whisper.
Rascal grabbed his friends jaw tightly and turned Ulric's face to his. “I have already ordered Akaoni, and Majorina not to touch them.” His voice turned stern again.
Ulric looked at the jester intently, his tail flicked to the side as he watched Rascal.
"I want my precious little warrior to stay happy. I want you to have what I never could.” He smiled softly, let go and gently scratched underneath Ulric's chin. “I'll deal with the consequences. Now. Go play with that little red toy of yours.”
Ulric closed his eyes in content, leaning into the affectionate scratch for a moment, indulging in the bliss. He pulled away and looked at Rascal.
"I won't let you down.” He replied, before he turned to leave.
”I know you won't my beloved friend.” He smiled and turned his gaze to the on coming group.

Ulric stood at the top of a hill, hiding amongst the shadows, not wanting to be seen, a smirk on his face.
The oblivious group wandered around the woods. Pop had gone back to Märcheland, to guard the portal from the other side, he'd taken his sister with him.
Raphael shoved his younger brother forward. Don stumbled and nearly fell. He swayed as he tripped through the woods, ‘leading’ the others. His face was swollen on one side and from his face to his plastron was covered in blood. The auburn eyed turtle was completely out of it, he was still in shock from his fall.
Ulric's eyes widened in disbelief as he headed down the hill.
"Donatello? What the HECK HAPPENED!?!” He asked bewildered.
Peace jumped, and shrieked, as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
Raphael growled darkly at the wolf, grabbed the top of the edge of Donnie's carapace, and shoved him back. He grabbed his sais. "Good job traitor. Now stay outta my way!” He growled at his brother, and turned his hate filled gaze to the wolf, Donnie's blood was still splattered on Raph's knuckles and part of his plastron.
