"NO!" The dove grey wolf woke up hyperventilating, looking around the room wildly, searching for the pixies from his dream.

Donatello jumped in surprise and kept the wolf down. "Ulric. Calm down, you'll open the stitches." The Auburn eyed turtle frowned worriedly.

Ulric's eye were wide with fear, as he struggled against Donnie, trying to get free of his grip. He looked at Donnie's face, and calmed down slowly, remembering the turtle wasn't a threat.

"D-Donnie? You should be glad I came to my senses. I-I almost bit you." He chuckled shakily.

Donnie chuckled, nervously and apologetically. "Sorry Ulric," He got off the wolf. "I didn't want you to re-open the wounds."

Ulric sat up slowly, his back to the wall, he took a shaky breath. "So, are you okay?" He asked, trying to find something other than his nightmare to think about.

The Auburn eyed turtle nodded slowly. "Yeah, I'm okay now. Thank you for everything Ulric." He smiled, and gently adjusted the wolf's bandages.

Ulric smiled awkwardly, his ear twitched. He wasn't used to being thanked, well... Not sincerely that is. He shifted uncomfortably. " Uh, You're... Welcome?" He said haltingly, Unsure if that was the right thing to say. He thought a moment and nodded to himself. Ya, it was the correct response from what he could remember. He propped his chin on his hand, and zoned out of the conversation, unable to prevent himself from thinking about the hooded figure in his dream.

The turtle chuckled. "So Uh, Why exactly did you bring me here?"

"To eat you, my Dear," He said automatically, still in his head.

"Oh Uh, Well It honestly wouldn't be the first time." The turtle shifted uncomfortably and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

Ulric looked up at Donnie confused, barely catching the very end of what the turtle had said.

"What?" He wondered, not remembering what he had said earlier.

"You uh... Said you were going to eat me... Aaand I just said It wouldn't be the first time."

"I did?" Ulric scratched his head. "Well that makes sense, I guess." He mumbled.

"Yeah, I was zoned out right there. What was the question?" Ulric asked, speaking clearly again.

"I asked why you brought me here." Donnie fiddled with a few gears, and copper wire.

"Well, what was I supposed to do? Leave you with him? He beat the crap out of you. And you were half frozen to death. What kind of friend would I be if I just left?" He asked, stiffening, he looked away from the purple-clad turtle, fearing he had just assumed they were friends.

"W-Wait... We're friends?" The turtle looked up excitedly. "Y-You really want to be friends?" He asked hopefully.

Ulric looked back at the turtle, a grin growing on his face, his tail flicked happily. "Yeah! I mean, the Precure are always talking about how great friends are and stuff, I think it could be fun."

The purple-clad turtle's smile faded. "What... about the others? I know Akaoni wants me to stay... but what about you, or the others?"

"What do you mean what about me? I wouldn't've brought you here if I didn't want you to stay. And Rascal, well... You never can tell with him. And I'm sure you and Majorina can probably tinker around or whatever it is you do...." He said her name with disgust, not liking to mention her at all at the moment.

Donnie blushed lightly in embarrassment. "Right. Thank you. I'll do my best to not disappoint any of you."

The dove grey wolf smiled. He yawned and stretched like a cat, his joints making a satisfying pop.
