"Is anyone there?" my voice echoed throughout cabin. I was back on the plane sitting in the exact aisle and seat as before only there was no sign of it being in a crash, it was still in one piece and completely empty. Moving slightly from my seat, without getting up I took a quick scan of the entire plane from bow to tail but still there was no one in sight or nor could a sound could be heard.

'Someone must be here', I thought, a pilot at least. Determined to get some answers as to what was going on I made my way to the cockpit. Without knocking I opened the door hoping to find someone but just as my gut was telling me, it was empty too. "How is this possible where the hell is everyone." At first frustration was my only problem but the time for a full-on panic was fast approaching, the shortness of breath, my pounding heart. Trying to calm myself, I leaned my forehead against the cold panel wall of the plane, having a panic attack wasn't going to help my predicament.

"You can do this Claire..." what exactly was I to do remained a mystery. I stood in the same position, unmoving for another few minutes trying to think of what to do next when out of the blue I heard a faint whisper carried throughout the cabin. Snapping my head up in the direction of the cabin in hopes to find the source but somehow I already knew who it was. Could I just be going crazy, maybe, but something was telling me I was right. The whisper came back and I'm sure this time it was my name and it was Michelle's voice.

"Michelle is that you?" maybe she needed my help but more importantly maybe this time I get there get there fast enough to save her. Making my way towards the back of the plane, when without any warning I was thrown into the door of the emergency exit banging my head in the process. The plane had started experiencing turbulence, it shook violently while I struggled to stay upright but the all too familiar headache was coming back. Managing finally to regain my slight stance, the plane stopped jerking and seemed to have levelled out. However, my ease was short-lived. The plane, what I could only describe as coming to a complete stop midair, before it began to plummet towards earth while spinning out of control. The abrupt change in the direction of the plane cause me to loose the very loose grip I had on the back of a chair. Falling to the ground without even trying to get back up I held my eyes closed tightly, accepting my fate-as I knew that this time I wouldn't manage to survive this.

"Open your eyes, Claire." instantly my eyes flew open Michelle was standing in front of me, smiling. The plane hadn't stopped its destined path it was only a matter of time before we collided with the earth and here she was smiling at me again as though all was right in the world. "Get up." she stated simply and held out her hand. At first I stared at her and her hand as though they were crazy, the plane was out of control I could barely pick myself up. She stepped forward with such grace it was as though she was floating, with arm still extended she helped me up and pulled me into a gentle embrace. "You'll be ok-I promise." At that point my tears reigned free and I wept in her arms; we were about to die in a plane crash with no way to survive, I couldn't see how it would be ok. "You can do this. Remember your promise."

"I remember."

"Good, its not like you have a choice." she laughed whimsically and began to loosen her hold but I wasn't ready for her to go. There was so much to ask, things I needed to know, how was I to do it all.
