[POSTED SONG: Electric Love by BØRNS]

"So is Bobby supposed to follow you around everywhere?" I turn to Harry who's in the driver's seat with his gaze focused on the road in ahead of him.

"Yes," Bobby answers monotonously from the seat behind me.

I turn around from my spot in the passenger's side to face him. "Well, what do you do for the holidays? Wouldn't you want your time off?" I ask intriguingly.

"It depends. If Ms. Anne is making her town famous holiday cookies then I'm with Harry most of the time. If not, then I call in sick," he says which counters a laugh from me.

"He's joking," Harry comments and removes his gaze from the road to glance at me for a couple of seconds.

We've been on the road for almost half an hour and it feels like time has passed by so fast. The scenery is just breathtaking and the long road ahead of us creates the illusion of it being endless. Harry, Bobby, and I all took turns sharing our favorite embarrassing stories. Mine being the time I pissed myself in front of the whole class in the second grade.

I've also learned a lot more about Bobby; he's a pretty mysterious man. Despite the fact that he's tall and well built muscular-wise, he has his eyebrows permanently furrowed in intimidation, and he almost always answers with only one word responses, he's a pretty neat dude. His wife and three year old daughter live back home in San Antonio, Texas. His wife owns a wedding planning service company and he visits them every chance he gets.

I don't understand how he could do that, to be honest. Especially with his daughter being so young, he's missing out on so much of her childhood.

My own thoughts are interrupted at our sudden arrival in a well-kept and lovely little neighborhood. We pull up in front of a moderate-sized house with a long driveway with tall hedges aligning the walkway.

It's gorgeous and I can tell it'd look a hundred times better in the Spring with a flower garden occupying the yard looking alive and well.

"This place is stunning," I breathe out and take in the view around me. Harry moves behind me and Bobby grabs our suitcases from the trunk of the car and brings it up to the front door.

"So before we go in, I should probably warn you. My mum and sister have a tendency to get a little over-the-top excited," Harry says.

A tiny sting of jealousy hits me at the thought of Harry bringing other girls home to meet his family, which is why Harry has to warn me about his mom and sister's behavior. I throw the thoughts and feelings away before I start to drown myself in self-doubt.

"Got it," I state with a smile.

We walk in through the front door and the inside is just as beautiful as the outside. I don't notice a drop of lint or a speck of dust anywhere and everything seems so glossy and shiny.

"MUM!" Harry yells out into the seemingly empty house. I hear footsteps sound from the floor above us and then travel down the steps in a hurry.

"Harry!" she exclaims and wraps her small arms around Harry's neck, pulling him into a tight hug. "I've missed you so much!"

"I've missed you too," he responds and tries to pry her off of him in an attempt to stop the embarrassment flooding through.

I stand there awkwardly and shift the balance on my feet back and forth. Harry's mom notices my presence immediately after breaking away from Harry's embrace. Her eyes sparkle and the corners of her eyes crinkle as she breaks out an award winning smile.
