You pushed open the door of the lecture hall and braced yourself for the harsh winds and frigid temperature of the New York winter. You had been smacked in the face with these conditions before but each time, it still hurt like a bitch. You pull your hat down tighter on your head just so that you can barely see and then begin your trek to the closest subway station, about two blocks away.

Luckily you had remembered to put your earphones in before leaving the lecture hall so you already had some music to listen to while you scurried around the busy streets of NYC. You picked out your favorite playlist and began to walk to the tempo of the first song, which was actually quite fast, but it was fine with you because it just meant you would get to the warm subway car sooner.

The wind whipped against your face even harder than before which forced you to close you eyes and turn your head in the opposite direction but you had forgotten you were walking at a fast pace; however, you quickly remembered how fast you were walking when you felt yourself collide with something else and hit the ground, managing to bounce your head off the pavement.

"Hey are you alright?" you heard who you assumed was the person that ran into you ask. You reached back to rub your hand on the spot where you had hit your head but you felt something warm and sticky instead.

"What is..." you opened your eyes a tiny bit so that you could see your hand which was now drenched in blood. You started to hyperventilate and look around for help, but it you couldn't help but keep your eyes tightly shut. "Ow, ow, ow!" you cried out as you started to take notice of the severe pain coming from the back of your head.

"Oh God, umm... it's gonna be okay-" the voice spoke again, "shit, shit... listen I'll call an ambulance, just hold this here," you felt something placed into your hand and then directed to the back of your head where the blood was pouring out. You started to feel extremely tired and refused to sit up off the ground. You managed to slow down your breathing but now you felt extremely light-headed. You finally opened your eyes to see snow being violently whirled around above you and a figure standing just to your left.

"I really don't..." you started but ran out of breath before you could finish your sentence. "Hey I-" you began practically gasping for air. You could feel your head throbbing and it only got worse when you started to hear more voices coming from near by, most of them asking about your condition. You were hyperventilating at this point and you couldn't keep your eyes open anymore.

You felt something warm wrap around your waist and under your knees and then suddenly, you were being picked up. You tried to keep your hand on your head but you weren't able to gather the strength and you let your arm relax and sway in the breeze while you continued to be quickly carried. You let your eyes flutter open for a split second but you were only able to catch a glimpse of the man carrying you.

"Hey, hey, hey... try and keep your eyes on me yeah?" You heard him say. "Please don't let those eyes close now, we're almost there. Just one more minute." You strained your eyes open and made eye contact with the man carrying you. You didn't know who it was but you could've sworn you'd seen him around campus before or something. You tried your hardest to keep your eyes open but you finally had to give into the immense weight that was pulling down on your eyelids and the painful throbbing in the back of your head.

You took sharp breath in after opening your eyes and realizing that you were not sleeping in your own bed. You were being propped up with pillows and after you looked around the room, you realized that you were in a hospital room. You tried sitting up but then quickly remembered that you had split your head open on the pavement earlier.

"Hey, you're up... umm," the same man that had been carrying you earlier was now at the side of your bed. "Well first of all, I'm really sorry," you let out a chuckle and so did he. "Second of all, my name is Brendon, I'm sorry we had to meet this way." Brendon extended his hand toward you and you gathered up enough strength to shake it.

"I'm {Y/N}," you responded as you leaned back into your comfortable pile of pillows. "Do I know you?" You decided to get the question out of the way so that you didn't make your head hurt by thinking hard about it.

"I don't remember ever meeting you, but I meet a lot of people," he answered. Wringing his hands in a nervous fashion.

"Well do you life around here, or have classes on my campus or something because I have definitely seen your face before," you urged, knowing that there had to be a story behind why this guy was so familiar.

"I am actually in a band, maybe you've heard of it?" It was at that moment that you realized you had been knocked unconscious by the lead singer of Panic! At The Disco.

"Holt shit!" you exclaimed. Brendon laughed rubbed the back of his neck, he almost seemed embarrassed. "I'm so sorry I didn't realize earlier, I've been listening to your music for years now!"

"I don't really blame you, I don't think I would really recognize any of my favorite singers just after having my head split open," Brendon chuckled and reminded me how you ended up in this crazy situation in the first place.

"Oh yeah, what exactly happened to me?" you asked, feeling significantly better than before.

"Well you definitely had a nice split in your head, you've got a couple staples back there now though, so you should be okay," Brendon smiled softly and grabbed your hand. "I feel so awful about all of this, is there any way you want me to do to make you forgive me?"

"I mean just you being here has always been a dream of mine, I don't really know what else I would even have you do," you answered, in awe that Brendon Urie was offering to do anything you wanted him to.

"There's gotta be something," Brendon insisted, as he got up and sat on the side of your bed. You stared into his eyes and you realized how close his face was to yours now.

"I mean- I..." you lost track of your thoughts as Brendon leaned in a bit closer.

"You know, I didn't even know you were a fan of the band when I decided to stay here with you. I just didn't wanna make someone as beautiful as you be all alone," Brendon said as he squeezed your hand a bit tighter.

"Th-thanks," you managed to stutter out, taken aback by the fact that Brendon just called you beautiful. "I totally forgive you by the way, you really don't need to do anything else."

"But what if I really want to?" Brendon said as he cupped the side of your face in his other hand.

"Well then," you started. You watched as Brendon slowly leaned in a gave you a delicate kiss, as if he were scared to hurt you even more.

"I'm sorry if that was uncalled for," Brendon said, "I just really think I knocked you unconscious for a reason, maybe it a sign or something." Brendon smiled and you smiled back. You supposed that cracking your head open and having to go to the hospital wasn't so bad when it all ended with a kiss from Brendon Urie.
