The shiny black Audi stopped in front of the famous le restaurant.

The fancy hotel was famous for its mouth-watering French cuisine and great decor. It was a place always filled with prominent people, whether be day or night. Big business deals, the wedding of celebs, kitty parties and what not were organized there every day. Hence, you couldn't even get a table for one without an early reservation. Luhan remembered how his uncle had wanted to celebrate Luhan's 18th birthday here but he couldn't get a reservation even when he had called for it a week ago making Luhan wonder how they were going to get a table for two at last minute.

Also, neither he was dressed for the occasion like Kris was nor had enough money to pay the bills.

Now, how the hell was he gonna pay? By washing the freaking dishes?

Great. Luhan sighed inwardly.

Just fucking great.

"Ready?" Kris asked snapping him out of his trance. Luhan hummed and was about to step out when the taller stopped him.

"Allow me, beautiful." Kris smiled. Luhan went all beetroot red at the adjective used. Really, Kris was going to wreck him if he continued to be this good to him. But Luhan didn't want it from him. He didn't want Kris to make him feel whatever he was feeling right now. He didn't want to fall for Kris when every day he wished for Sehun to love him. The taller opened the door for him and gave him his hand which Luhan took hesitantly. With a sweet and dazzling smile, Kris slid his hands into his own and walked to the front. There were stares and whispers going around which made Luhan go all uncomfortable. He wasn't used to this kind of attention.
It suffocated him, made him feel small. Of course, he belonged to a rich family where parties were common but he was never good with that. Everything about such places made him feel so out of the world. Also, his not so trendy attire wasn't helping much and he felt like an underdog in front of those heavy brands. He wanted to escape.

Why couldn't they eat at a normal place?

Maybe they didn't have those great chefs and don't serve with such deliciousness but it was still felt cozy and nice. Not to forget that the food would be under Luhan's budget. Thinking a lot about it, Luhan was about to ask Kris to leave when Kris cut him off by bringing him closer and whispering into his red ears.

"Don't worry about anything. You look much more amazing than them." Luhan thought he has been knocked out of the air.

How-how did he know what I was thinking?

The valet greeted them with a bow and took the car keys from Kris and went to park the expensive car. With each step he took towards those sliding doors, Luhan was not so sure if he wanted to enter the beautiful hotel. He was feeling the pressure building in him. Nervousness and anxiety kicked in making him pale but because of Kris's assuring and warm smiles, he decided to follow.

What could go wrong huh?

I will just embarrass myself a little because of a dropped spoon and maybe a broken glass.

A beautiful waitress welcomed them and escorted the couple to their a table. As they approached one in the corner, Luhan's eyes became glued to the transparent window in awe. There was Han river, shimmering bright under the moonlight. The lightenings done around enhanced its beauty even further. It looked like the bank had been decorated with shining stars giving it a complete heavenly look. Words couldn't even describe how amazing the scene looked and Luhan was awfully mesmerized. The menu card was given to the couple and as much as Kris wanted Luhan to buy something extravagant. Luhan settled for a light meal saying something about not being that hungry and so. Of course Kris wasn't gonna buy it but in the end, he didn't push the doe.
