A Kiss: A Luffy x Nami Fanfic

Chapter 2: Ship's Deck

(Hey guys! Today I just kinda feel lazy so sorry if this chapter is a big flop. And I won't do a 'previously', just read the last chapter!)

Nami's POV:

I was on my way to the kitchen to drink some water, to help me sleep. But as soon as I got to the ship's deck Luffy was there.I went towards Luffy, he seems to just sit there like a statue.

I called out to Luffy, "Luffy! What are you doing here?"

He turned around confused, "I should be asking you that."

"I just couldn't sleep."

"Well, it's my turn to guard the ship." Luffy said.

"Shouldn't you be up on the crow's nest then?" I asked.

"I just went down here to think."

My eyes widened and I said, "Who are you and what have you done with Luffy?"

He stared at me looking confused with his tilted head, I can tell he didn't get the joke.

"Ok, now I can tell you're Luffy."

"That's mean, Nami!" Luffy said while pouting.

I giggled to his confusion, he's so childish.

"How about I help you?" I offered my help.

Luffy jumped up and down like a child and he said, "This is perfect! Because maybe you can tell me what love is!"

When I heard what he said,my eyes widened, my heart beated fast, my legs felt weak again, and my face blushed so hard again. I wobbled a little bit because of my legs.

"Nami, are you okay?" Luffy said when I stopped wobbling.

"I'm fine, I just lost my balance that's all." I said.

"You sure? You're face is red again." Luffy said.

I put my hands on my cheeks and it felt like they're burning. After realizing how hard I was blushing I quickly turned around.

"I-I'm fine don't worry about it." I said, looking like an idiot.

After quite some time we sat down and an akward silence came up. We were just sitting on the grass not saying anything. What's worse is we're not even facing each other. I can't stop blushing.

"Nami?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you gonna help me with my problem?"

"What?"

"You know the- never mind."

It seemed like Luffy looked a little annoyed when he said that. Well can you blame me?! I'm blushing so hard over here!

Luffy's POV:

'I guess Nami didn't know what love is either. Heck, does anybody reall know what love is?! And what the heck is up with me?! Why can't I face Nami?!' I thought to myself.

'This is just so confusing!' I thought to myself as I scratch my head.

As I plant my hand back to the grass, I accidentally held Nami's hand!

Nami's POV:

I let out a slight scream when Luffy held my hand. I turned around to see if he's looking  but it seems he doesn't even know he held my hand, he looked a little ruffled. For a little while as I move to comfort myself, I accidentally intertwined one of my finger between his other two it made me blush again. Sooner or later our hands were intertwined!
