Later that night, back at King and Riley's Condo— 7:03pm

RILEY

Ding!

The 5 minute timer went off in our downstairs bathroom as I sat in Dave's lap at our kitchen counter.

I bit at my nails, a habit only did when I was nervous... and tonight was a perfect reason for this old habit to resurface. After stopping at CVS on our way home. I had taken 5 tests it was time - now or never for us to find out.

I felt Dave kiss my shoulder, getting my attention immediately. I stopped biting my nails as I peaked over my shoulder at Dave.

"You ready to find out babygirl"

I answered him with a kiss as Dave stood up and stretched his long limps.

"Ready and nervous"

" don't be... I kno' you pregnant"

I stale faced him as I wrapped my arms around his torso, laying my head against his chest. I loved our height contrast. I always felt small in comparison to Dave's intimating frame.

Sucking my teeth, I stalled for my time and kept Dave talking.

I said I was nervous

"Yeah a nigga did his thing that night in Philly a few months back, daddy had you soaking and I kept telling you, you be makin' it hard for me to pull out"

I slapped his chest as he responded with a deep laugh before he lifted my chin. We just stared at each-other, enjoying the moment.

" You happy Riley? "

Dave stared at me with seriousness laced in his voice.

" Yes, I am.. I'm happy with you and I'll be happy if I am carrying your child, if that's what you mean"

" Gimmie a kiss woman"

I leaned up smiling as I pecked his lips a few times receiving a firm grip to my butt.

" Let's go check the tests, 5 minutes was up a few minutes ago"

I let Dave lead the way to the bathroom as I stood against the doorway to nervous to read them.

I watched Dave walk in the bathroom and look down at all 5 tests.

" What do they say! What do that say"

I couldn't hide my excitement and anxiousness as David turned to me with a sly grin.

" Like a nigha said Philly daddy put it down"

I covered my mouth as I ran into the bathroom and looked at all 5 tests and God be all knowing and great...... I was PREGNANT!

I felt Dave wrap his arms around my waist as I picked up one of the sticks and read the words positive over and over.

I was in shock but I knew my body and I knew something was off the last few weeks... I just took it as stress, not knowing I had a little one growing inside me.

I smiled at the thought.

I took Dave's hand in mine as I placed them on top of my small pudge.

" We did this"

" Yes we did mommas, I wouldn't want it any other way.. a nigga love the shit outta you Riley"

I smiled at Dave's words because I knew how hard it was for him to express himself.

I turned in his arms as I pecked his lips a few times while he tried to deepen it an make it nasty like always

I pulled back smirking up at him

" isn't kissing how we got here in the first place"

He gently pulled me back to him by my black sweatshirt planting kisses all over my face and neck.

" woman ... don't play with me.. imma put a-whole lotta babies in you and a ring on that left hand, keep it up"

I laughed as I let David have his way with me in the bathroom because I already had plans to send him to Taco Bell for food for me and little one.

Let the pregnancy begin!
