A Little Surprise

I kept waking up in the night. I think it was because my wolf couldn't get enough of my mate being in our arms happy and at peace. He just wanted to keep looked at her whist she slept. I know it's creepy but she's the most beautiful thing on this planet. In this universe. After what my dad told me, I made me realise that I need to treasure and love her even more. And another thing he made me realise is that I've fallen in love with her. I mean how could you not. Her smile, her eyes, her wavy hair, everything. Seen as though I was awake and it was like 7am I decided to do a little something special for her as a token of my love and care for her. I got out of bed slowly and replaced my body with as pillow. It worked but she now had a frown on her face in her sleep. I smiled down at her. I can't have leave her sad. I bent down and kissed her forehead. As I stood back up, her frown was replaced with a small smile. And on that note I left the room and headed to the kitchen. I knew Emma would be awake making breakfast for the pack as normal so that was perfect because I needed her help. Lucy I've noticed normally wakes up at about 9 so that gives me 2 hours. Should be enough time. I spotted Emma sizzling sausages in a pan and I walked over to her so I was by her side. She looked up and smiled.

After my mum died, she was amazing. She was the closest thing I had to a mum. She acted like my mum and I will be forever grateful for what I put her through,

"How can I help you Ashton." She said looking at the sausages which were cooking nicely,

"Is there any petals, roses, plants anything like that around here." I asked. She then whipped her head round to look at me with wide eyes as the pan was now falling through the air and landed on the floor with a smash.

"Wait, are you doing something for Lucy." She asked excitedly,

"Yes so are there any anywhere." I asked her and she smiled at me,

"Follow me Ash, follow me." She led me down a hall and then outside. There were many plant in the garden. I never really go in the garden. I mean it's huge but I never was interested until now. It looks really nice. Ever since Lucy's come into my life, I look at thing so much differently,

"Look over here." I heard Emma shout from afar. I walked towards her voice and found a whole section in the garden of Daisy's, roses, tulips. You name it, the flower will be there.

"Thank you this is perfect." I said to her. She was leaving until I shouted and ran up to her,

"Wait, can you make Lucy some pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast and have them ready by 8:45." I said and she smiled and agreed and went of.
I picked some flowers here and there. They smelt really good but obviously nothing compares to the smell of my mate.

After an hour everything was set up. All that was left was for Lucy to love it. Hopefully.

Lucy's pov🥀
I woke up at my normal time which was 9 o clock. I turned around expecting Ash to be there but there was nothing except and small note saying 'my kitten, my princess' and I blushed. Those are his two names for me and I love them. I opened the note and in it wrote

Dear my kitten,

Make your way downstairs princess, I've got a surprise for you.

Ash x

I sighed and held the note close to me. I'm so lucky to have a mate like him. Like he has no Flaws. Perfect face. Perfect body. Perfect smile. Perfect personality. Perfect kisser. Trust me the list goes on. I did as told and got up out of the bed and headed to the door.

I opened it and gasped. Along the stairs were flowers. Lots of them. They were all pink roses which were my favourite! I only mentioned once on the way back from the hospital that I liked flowers. He remembered. Perfect memory. There's another one to the list. It was beautiful. He also placed some scented candles along the way which added a beautiful small and effect to the staircase which made it look even more amazing. I began walking down the stairs to reveal a very handsome topless Ash at the bottom of it with breakfast and a table for two with flowers all around it. I smiled at him,

"What's all this for." I said walking up to him and giving him a hug,

"Just a thank you for saying yes to my question." He said in my ear. Bloody hell. I should be saying that you. I partnered with a god. You on the other hand are partnered with a toad. I said IN my brain.

"You didn't need to." I said whist he pulled out my chair as I stood there in awe. He walked over to me and caressed my cheek,

"Princess, I will do anything for you to make you happy." He said with a small smile which made my knees weak. I smiled back widely,

"Well it looks beautiful. It's the kindest thing anyone's ever done for me. Thank you." I said to him as we were both staring into each other's eyes. I pecked him on the lips and went to sit on my chair. He growled.

"Is that really all I get for all of this." He said frustrated and I just giggled.

"Yeah my foods getting cold over here and I am starving." I said digging into the beautiful food in front of me,

"You and your food." He said smiling away to himself and rolling his eyes."

After we finished breakfast, Ash took my hand and led me outside. When we made it, I froze. It was beautiful. There were so many flowers. So many different types and colours. Omg I was in heaven. I walked over the the purple tulips and bent down to them. I then smelt there amazing scent mixed with the fresh air. Aghhhh. The bliss. I then felt a pull at my hand and then I was turned swiftly around to be faced with Ash. He looked at me and smirked,

"Well." He began stepping back. "You know how you've never seen my wolf." He then began to pull down his shorts because he already had his top off all morning which may I add was a beautiful distraction I must admit. I looked away not wanting to see down there but then thinking. I really did. Too late now. I then heard a loud and I mean really loud growl which held so much power. I whipped my head round to see and enormous black wolf. This wolf was about 6,3 so Ash's height already. And against my 5,5 height let's just say. It was a big difference. I was mesmerised. He was incredible. Unbelievable.

I walked up to it slowly but before I could take a step I was being tackled and being licked all over my face. I laughed and smiled. This big bad looking wolf is still silly and warm hearted, just like Ash.

"Hi Jake." I said and he did a little wild smile and another howl which made me laugh. He then dug his snout into mine and smelled me. He purred.

This was the best surprise I've ever had.
