----------------------------

The library had been place of solace to you. Especially in the sports-centered school you went. It was a place of peace, silence, and, best of all, books. You were a bookworm to the extreme, reading anything from fantasy to romance to biographies.

That was one of the reasons you were in there at the moment. Another reason was because exams were coming up, making the library more popular for kids wanting to study and get a good score.

"German...Spanish...Russian...Hawaiian?" You mumbled to yourself. "Aha! French."

You pulled out a large book on the French language and settled on a comfy couch in the corner. Time to study. Opening up the book, you were surprised to see a blank piece of paper full of scribbles in French. You read it quickly as it said the following:

[insert French here]

What did it mean? Oh wait. This was a French book. You can look it up.  As you flipped through the pages, you came upon the translation:

Reminder-Research how long optical organs can last under intense heat pressure

Obviously the person who was using this book last planned on using it again if they wrote a reminder. Maybe you should leave them a message...You pulled out a pen and wrote down the following:

Did you ever find out how long they can last?

You smiled proudly at your handiwork. This would be fun.

---Long Time Skip brought to you by---
---A Ten Dollar Founding Father Without---
---a Father---

The sound of the bell rang through your ears, making you bolt out of the door of your math class as fast as lightning. Math was kicking you in the ass today. As we're all of your other classes, but that was probably due to your lack of sleep. At least it was the end of the school day.

Using the little energy you had, you booked it to the library(see what I did there?). It was essential that you got there quickly today to enact your plan. You ignored the urge you had to go to the bathroom and skipping your locker by carrying your books with you. This was important.

Finally arriving to your destination, you hid in the corner and fixed your gaze at a certain bookshelf while hiding behind a book of your own. Any other person would think you looked crazy but due to the lack of people in the palace of books, no one noticed.

After waiting for about ten minutes, someone walked up to the bookshelf before looking around. You hid behind your book and then looked again to catch the sly bookshelf browser.

The person was obviously a tall boy with curly dark brown hair. You could only see the back of him, so his face was a mystery to you. He took a book out, opened it, looked for a few seconds, took something out of his back, did something to the book, and then set it back.

Bingo.

The boy turned as you caught a glimpse of his face. Was that...Sherlock Holmes? No way. There was no way that the guy you've been sending messages back and forth with through the French book was the handsome genius Sherlock freaking Holmes. Maybe he'd just caught you scribbling in it one day and decided to see what it was? That's even worse
