A/N: Hm? Kristina's on vacation so she'll be able to post more, riiiiight?

I know. I know. I need to post more. But I just suck at it.

Just a quick note before this starts. It's placed during the time in which Moriarty is being contained by the government. Just so you know!

Thank you to Rain-Hides-My-Tears for requesting this! It was a bit of a challenge, but it was fun.

Anywho, hope you enjoy!

—————-

There were three things that were the main focuses of your life:

1. You worked for the British government

2. Your brother was Jim Moriarty

3. You hated your brother

Well, hate was a strong word, so maybe you just had a very powerful urge to give him a nice hug.

With your hands.

Around his neck.

Of course, you'd loved him as a child, but he was always so...sadistic. He loved to see things struggle and to put people down, even you. There was also the fact that he had a knack for stealing things that didn't belong to him.

When he hit 14, he began his long descent into madness. The very thought of it made you shutter. That was when you knew what you had to do in your life: to hunt down your chaotic brother and (as cheesy as it sounded) do him justice.

Currently, you had only a job as a PA for the brilliant Mycroft Holmes. You'd worked under him for about a year. He was cold, cynical, and distant, but he had a soft side (especially for cake and his brother, as you in had learned).

"Good Morning, Miss (Y/L/N)," your boss said as he walked in, carrying his usual umbrella. You'd changed your last name to hide the fact that your brother was a psychopathic criminal. Mycroft always said good morning to you and no one else. It made you feel special.

Actually, you had developed a tiny (big) crush on the man. Most of the time, though, you buried it deep, deep down, knowing he would never feel the same. Especially since you were the sister to the person you were both trying to track down.

"Good morning, Mr Holmes," you replied to what your boss had said before. After that, he smiled slightly and disappeared into his office to do god knows what. Now...time for work!

Honestly, work for you was easy most of the time. You had to answer and make a few phone calls, schedule a few things, send a few interesting people into Mycroft's office, and run the occasional errand for the man in charge. Today wasn't very exciting. Very few phone calls, a few files dropped off, a hair cut scheduling, and Mycroft going out for "lunch" (when you knew he was actually just going to see his brother).

Until around one thirty.

The phone rang. When you picked it up, the boyish voice calling sounded young, frantic, anxious, and slightly desperate.

"Mycroft Holme's offi-" you began before being interrupted.

"Hi, yes. Can you put me through to Mr. Holmes? It's quite urgent."
