Rieka Stone lives in the Whitetail Mountains, Jacob Seed's region of Hope County. She used to live in Holland Valley but decided that it was time for a change after John Seed had took control of the town that she lived in.

Rieka is a solitary creature who found a wood cabin deep with in the forest, she instantly took a liking to the location and moved in. Sure, the cabin needed a few repairs but she had it feeling like a home in no time. As a person who prefers the company of animals over humans she was happy to live in such an isolated place, only taking her truck into town when she required resources.

She would drive into the closest town that wasn't under Jacob's complete control and visit the stores before driving back to her home. Rieka isn't a sociable person so the town folk only know her as "Red", a nickname that came about due to the red hood that she always wears. They even started calling her Red to her face, she accepted the name quickly and preferred it to people using her real name.

Red doesn't fear the animals that surround her house, in fact they make her feel safer. The animals don't fear her either, even the most vicious of bears roll over when she asks them too.

Red was content with her life, she avoided the cult and the resistance as she wanted nothing to do with it. She kept to herself and liked it that way. In fact she was blissfully unaware that she had caught the attention of the one and only Jacob Seed as soon as she drove in to his region.

Jacob would never admit it, not even to himself, but when he saw her driving down the dirt roads in her beat up truck he was interested in her. However he knew nothing about her, he knew that she lived with in the woods but he didn't know where, and he knew that she drove into a small town on the out skirts of those woods.

In fact it was that town where Jacob and Red first met, if you could call it meeting.

Jacob was with a few of his men preparing a truck of supplies to be stored away when their attention turned to the sound of an old truck driving towards them. He noticed the dark haired girl who sat behind the wheel, hiding under a large red hood, she noticed him too. They made a small amount of eye contact as her truck crept past the cult's. The herald watched the girl climb out of the truck and walk into the general store. He noticed the size of the girl, short and fragile by the looks of it, why would this girl have any of Jacob's interest? Still, he watched her like a wolf would his prey.

His opinion on her changed all over again when he was the girl walking out of the general store, carrying a large wooden crate. Jacob couldn't help but scoff in amusement, considering the crate to almost be larger than her. Red placed the crate in the back of the truck before waving at somebody through the store window and climbing into the drivers seat. She turned on the radio, listening to the cult's hymns as she turned her truck around. She passed Jacob and his men one last time as she drove out of town. He watched her driving away, his grip tightening on the metal of his gun as her truck got lost among the trees of the forest.

Red couldn't help but watch Jacob as she drove past him, even glimpsing at him in the rear view mirror. Of course she knew who he was; he was Jacob Seed, the Solider, the Wolf. He was the eldest Seed brother and the head of security for Eden's Gate. She could admit to herself that he was intimidating in every way, he was tall and broad, muscular and looked as if he could win a fist fight with a bear, his gaze was hard and cold, and covered in scars and rashes. The blemishes that covered his skin might revolt some people and make them feel uncomfortable or even disgusted but she found it some what endearing and intriguing. Jacob Seed is a scary man, this is a well known fact in Hope County, but Red has never been afraid to poke the bear or in this case the wolf.
