Jacob and Red stayed in their own rooms that night, Red didn't want to push any limits or upset Jacob in any way. The next morning, when she woke up, there was no sound in the cabin but she could hear the trucks and cultists outside. She walked down stairs and didn't see Jacob, she just hummed and made breakfast. Once she got an idea of where everything was kept in the kitchen she put together a small breakfast, even making some for Jacob even though she didn't know where he was.

Jacob walked into the cabin after doing his morning rounds, and placed his gun on the coffee table in the living room before heading to the kitchen. He froze in the doorway when he saw Red with her back to him. She was wearing a pair of grey sweatpants and a white tank top, tucking her hair behind her ear as she cooked. The man had almost forgotten that she was even here, even if he remembered he wouldn't have expected her to be in his kitchen as if she had been there many times before.

He watched silently as she put the food onto two separate plates, she turned and gasped when she saw Jacob. "You scared me" she chuckled awkwardly, wondering how long he had been standing there. "I made some breakfast, I made you some too. I didn't know if you had eaten or not" she smiled slightly at him as she picked up the plates and placed them on the wooden dining table.

"I haven't" he nodded and sat down at the table, opposite his house guest. He instantly began to eat and Red started to eat as well, in a more polite manner than Jacob was.

"If you don't mind me asking, where were you this morning?" The girl asked, only glancing at the man who already looked exhausted.

"Morning rounds, got training after this, dealing with some new recruits, then evening rounds" Jacob answered, she was pleasantly surprised that he would tell her his whole day schedule.

"What do you want me to do?" Red asked, was she just meant to sit here until he got injured.

"You can come with me to training, it might do you some good plus somebody always gets hurt during training" he glanced at her as he finished eating. "Get dressed, meet me outside" he cleared his throat before standing up and leaving.

Red watched him leave before quickly finishing her meal, washing up and getting dressed into her usual attire, hood included. She hurried down the stairs and met Jacob just outside the front door of the cabin. She noticed him eyeing her hood for a moment before he led her to his truck. The drove down the dirt roads, returning to the bunker from yesterday. This time the girl noticed that their was a group of cultists fist fighting in the far corner. "Training usually consists of shooting practise, some classical conditioning, and hand to hand combat. That is where you are needed" the soldier commented before climbing out of truck. Red decided to ignore the part about classical conditioning, of course she knew that he did to the 'recruits' to make them 'strong' but she just let it be and didn't think about it too much. That was Jacob's job, a part of him that she would just have to accept, after all she is working for him.

Red followed the large man to the group of cultists, they stopped when they saw Jacob approaching. He gestured at a block of concrete and Red took his hint, walking over and sitting down on it. Jacob removed his army jacket and threw it down beside Red, he then stepped into the ring of cultists. It was easy to see the cultists tense and get extremely nervous, Jacob pointed at the largest of the cultists and the nervous man stepped into the centre. Red had the perfect view as the two men raised their fist and circled each other, the way that Jacob moved and stared down his opponent reminded Red of a wolf playing with his prey before tearing it to shreds.

Red watched with intrigue as Jacob began to fight the man, dodging and countering every attack the other made and landing the most perfect strikes on him. Red bit her bottom lip slightly, feeling the want to cheer Jacob on, she just watched as Jacob knocked out the other man. She felt a strange sense of pride when he won, and definitely some attraction towards the soldier. She pushed those thoughts out of her head when Jacob walked over to her, she handed him his jacket back which he took and pulled on in silence. "Fix him up, and anyone else who needs it. The supplies are in the truck" he told her before walking away.

"You got it boss" she nodded with a slight smirked before heading over to the truck. Jacob paused and watched her slightly, smirking at the name 'boss'. He was her superior sure, but she was his. He snapped himself out of those thoughts and went on with his duties.

The hooded woman collected the supplies from the truck and returned to the training area where cultists where practising hand to hand combat. The man that Jacob had just beaten up was now sitting on the concrete block. She wandered over to him and he glanced her over suspiciously. "You're Jacob's girl?" The cultist asked cautiously.

"Medic" Red corrected him, almost blushing when being referred to as 'Jacob's girl'.

"Right" the man mumbled as Red crouched down beside him and patched him up. He flinched as she cleaned his wounds and soon a other members of the cult approached her with fresh cuts.

She spent the rest of the morning and most of the afternoon fixing up members of the cult. Their wounds weren't bad, just some cuts and bruises from fighting, the worst was certainly the man that Jacob had beaten. His bruises where the biggest and his cuts where the deepest. Once Red concluded that her job was done she packed up her supplies and put them back in the truck. She knew that Jacob had evening rounds to do, so she wondered when she would be able to get back to the cabin. Would she have to wait for Jacob to collect her, could she ask for a ride, would she have to walk back, could she take the truck?

Red decided against all of those options and hoisted herself up onto the hood of the truck. The sun was beginning to set and she decided to lower her hood. She closed her eyes and let out a tired sigh before opening them again, she couldn't fight off the smile that grew on her face when she saw Jacob leading a small amount of men on his evening rounds.

It was obvious that Jacob Seed is a strong leader that has earned the respect and the fear of his men. Red couldn't deny that she found that attractive. All too soon, the group had left her sight and she decided to wait in the truck. While waiting for Jacob to return she drifted off into a comfortable sleep with her head resting against the window.
