The ride back from the school was stressful,  as the only thing I could think of was what I said to Armit.

I mean, I had to do it right?

There is no way I could've let his feelings grow, it would've hurt him even more at the end

However, I was still pissed at myself. I totally wrecked our friendship.  If I ad explained things in a more subtle manner, maybe he wouldn't have freaked out.  Maybe we would've been friends

I get off the bus, waving goodbye to the old bus driver. He responds with a gleeful smile.

After a five minute walk, I arrive home. I open my beige purse to find my house keys.  I dig through my wallet, lipstick, phone, notepad, etc. My key was no where to be found. Where was it?

Just as I am looking through my purse in frustration, the door opens.

I am greeted by Siddharth, who is dressed in a blue shirt with his sleeves rolled up, showing of his muscular arms.

"Hey Nisha. You're back early" He smiles putting an arm around me

He notices that I look uncomfortable, thus takes his arm off me

I can hear subtle sounds of chatter inside the living room

"Who's here?" I question

"You know Mukul? He was free this afternoon, so was Keerthi, so I thought I'd bring him over to meet her" Siddharth explains

"Ahhhhh. How are they getting along" I ask walking slowly

"They are getting on great! Its almost like they've known each other for years!" He laughs

"Nisha! You're back dear!" Aunt Aadhya exclaims with a beaming smile as I walk inside

"Nisha! " Keerthi squels coming in for a hug

Judging by her vast smile and glimmering eyes, I could tell she is bursting with joy

"This is Mukul. Mukul, Nisha, my wife" Siddharth introduces

Infront of me stands a skinny, fair boyish looking figure. He has rather big eyes and skinny lips that curves into a smile when he sees me. His thin frame is adorned with an oversized coat, paired with dark blue denim jeans.

"Mukul" He smiles shaking my hands

"Nisha" I reply sitting back down beside Keerthi

"These two have been getting on just great, haven't you" Aunt Aadhya smiles looking at Keerthi and Mukul

"Aunty..." Keerthi pleads looking shy

"Look. Now she has gotten all shy. You should've seen her earlier, she wouldn't stop chatting to Mukul" Aunt Aadhya laughs

"Aunty! You're so embarrassing" Keerthi sighs

"Nothing to be embarrassed about, aye Mukul" Winks Siddharth, who is sitting beside Mukul

"Actually, I was thinking I could take her out for dinner tonight" Mukul smiles

"That would be great, wouldn't it" Siddharth nudges Keerthi

"Yeah, that'll be nice" Keerthi replies with a smile

"I know a really good Japanese place just down the road, maybe we could go there" Mukul suggests

"OMG! I know exactly which restaurant you are talking about it! The one with the huge red door at the front right?" Keerthi asks excitedly

"Yes! " Mukul grins
