Armit nods and shakes his head as I tell him what happened over the past days, hoping he can help.

"Yea so my life is  a disaster, all I have now is Drishti" I sigh

"Well, you still have Siddharth-" Armit starts

"Siddharth is nothing to me now. This whole problem is his fault, and for all that I know he is not acknowledging that. I am tired of giving him chances" I explain

"Did he say sorry atleast?" Armit asks

"Yes, he said a pitiful 'sorry'" I say emphasizing on the sorry

"Oh, I guess you can talk to him then, try sort things out, would't hurt" Armit says

"You're right. I will talk to Siddharth, but I assure you that if he shows the attitude he always shows then I don't know what I'll do. I just hope God has a good life in store of Drishti. Siddharth's behaviour is affecting all of us" I sigh

"Just give him one more opportunity Nisha" Armit says

This is the thing I like about Armit. Even though he had feelings for me(which I don't know if he still does), he is still trying to get me back with siddharth. That just proves to me that he isn't a selfish and arrogant guy like siddharth. He understand that I am married to siddharth and that being with siddharth is the best option for me and drishti, even though I wasn't too sure of that myself.

Armit drops me at the door, and waves goodbye before giving a flying kiss to Drishti.

When I open the door, I notice Siddharth slumped on the couch, exactly where I left him.

"Here are leftovers from the party " I say handing him the box of treats they gave us to take home

"Does that mean I'm now the leftover guy? The guy who eats leftovers from a party he wasn't even invited to?" He sighs

"You don't understand, you couldve come if you wanted to" I groan

"Oh why bother when everyone there aren't unsuccessful wastes like me" He yells placing his hands on his head

"Don't say that. You are not a waste, just because the whole business thing failed doesn't make you a waste. There are so many other jobs and chances in this world" I explain sitting beside him

"I don't know. Nothing ever seems to go right now, even Keerthi is furious " He sighs

"Her anger is just, but I mean, you can't keep beating yourself over and over for what has already happened. Just think positive, we are here for you " I say referring to Drishti

"Oh really you want me to believe that. You just left me here in this state to go partying with your boyfriend" He huffs

"Boyfriend? Excuse me? What are you saying!" I yell losing my calm

"Well it sure seems like that" He fumes

"I can't believe you think that. Armit and I are just collegues. And let me tell you he has had my back much more that you ever had!" I yell

"Oh there she starts" He sighs

"Siddharth, I'm gonna tell you one thing. The only reason I went to that party was because it is chaos here at home. There is always one problem after another, and in every fight you always blame me for everything going wrong in your life. I'm sorry to say this, but you are a dick" I huff

He looks at me in disbelief.

Yes, those words just came out of my mouth

"You sl*t!" He yells

"What did you just call me?" I question getting up

"You heard me Nisha" He says copying my moves

"What makes you think that? For your information, Armit actually confessed his feelings for me a while ago" I begin

"Of course he did" Siddharth huffs sarcastically

"But do you know what I told him? I said no. I told him that I was married to you and that I have no intention to leave this marriage and date him. I have rejected him ages ago for the sake of our marriage, and now you are here treating me like I am some cheater?" I spit in disgust

Siddharth looks at the floor, probably thinking of some witty comeback

"I have never thought of Armit as anything more than just a friend. I have always prioritized our marriage over everything, however you always fail to see that. Even today, I came here to give you a chance, but all you do is misunderstand me and accuse me of shameful things" I say trying not to break down

Siddharth sits back down on the couch, and takes a deep breath

"Well, if I'm such a dick then maybe you should just leave and live with Armit. He probably makes much more money that I make now" Siddharth sighs

"You don't mean that" I say sitting beside him

"I do Nisha. Just go away from here, you don't want this" He says pointing to himself

"But Drishti does. I know things have been bad but I came here to give you another chance and I am gonna give you that. Drishti and I need you. You are part of our family" I whisper

I couldn't believe these words were coming out of me. I am furious at him, but I have to give him a chance. But this is the last chance I am giving him.

"Well, I don't want a whore like you in this house! So get the f- out!" Siddharth yells

I am left in shock. I did everything I could to fix things, but this is how he responds?

I lowered my self-respect to try keep our family together, and this is how he responds, unbelievable.

"I guess if that's what you want, then fine" I say grabbing Drishti
