"André, I didn't know you worked tonight" Alex said.
"Always gotta serve you guys" André responded smiling.
"Eliza, Peggy, Lafayette, this is John André. He's a close friend of ours" Alex introduced them.
"Nice to meet you John. I'm Eliza. " Eliza shook his hand.
"Peggy." She shook his hand next.
"Lafayette." André handed him a shot rather then shaking his hand.
"Really nice to meet you guys. How 'bout the next rounds of shots are on the house."
"See, isn't André the best?" Herc said ruffling his hair. He gave everyone a shot.
"To the incarceration of Lee, Reynold, and Weeks!" André raised his shot, everyone doing the same. Everyone downed their shots, Eliza making a face as usual. John André watched the group carefully, slowly drinking his. As soon as he saw Peggy fall, he jumped the counter and ran.
Peggy downed her shot, feeling a burning sensation down her throat. 'Wow, this is strong' she thought. Peggy looked around, seeing double. Everything was blurry. She felt dizzy and nauseas. Before she knew it, she was in and out of consciousness.
