Today is my birthday, so I'll give you the 6th chapter of "Can we be friends?" as a gift 😁.
Enjoy!

"I just did not get along with the birthday boy..." I talked to my granny on the phone to tell her about my last night experience.
"Well, you can't like everyone. Just make sure you are not prejudiced when you deal with people." she answered. Hearing her calmly commenting on my experience felt like I was at home. "Don't worry, that won't happen! I probably won't see him ever again." I declared. "Don't say that, darling! You don't know, when you will meet people in life." she chuckled.

"You fought with Jeon Jungkook?!" Jimin gasped. It was lunchtime and my friends were sitting at a table with me. "She yelled at him..." J-hope imitated me.
Seems like everyone knew, who that jerk is. Jennie shook her head in disapproval. She had explained to me earlier, that the jerk was the youngest son of the Jeon family, that owned the "Jeon insurance company". They were well off and blabla...
Short: He was an ass with money in his pockets.
Furthermore he was also known as the biggest f***boy at SNA. Good at teakwondo (man, I easily pushed him away!) and everything else, so all the girls and boys fell for him. And he would flirt and get laid with every "pretty" girl. His standards must be soooooo low.

"Hyung, it was nothing! He was just an idiot and I got mad. End of the story." I epitomized.
"Kyungmi, you touched the Golden Maknae and got away with that? Girl, you are more lucky than wise! His fangirls are going to sue you!" Jimin grabbed my hand in worry.

Golden Maknae. Right, that was his nickname.

"How can someone like him even have fangirls?" I mumbled.
"Do not underestimate the power of the Golden Maknae!" Jennie stated.
"His fangirls are no joke!" J-hope grinned mischievously.
"Kyungmi! The rector was calling for you!" Yoongi stood at the doorframe of the canteen.
Why would he call so suddenly?

"Sorry for summoning a meeting so suddenly again!" I apologised to the councillors. "We got an invitation from SNA. It's about an exchange of one councillor per council between the partner schools." Jimin explained.
"What do you mean?" Matthew asked.
"We have to vote for one councillor to represent our school at another one. The main purpose is to strengthen our relationship with the other schools. As far as I know it's like an exchange year but just for councillors with the condition to work for the council of the host school." I elucidated.
"Let's say I will get the position" Matthew said "can I chose which school I am going to?"
Jimin shook his head "No, our partner for this year is SNA. So a councillor of SNA is coming to us and one of will be send there."
"I want you to think about whether you would like to run for office yourself or whom you would like to vote for. For information only: I won't run for office. As the president my priority is CA." I stated befor dismissing the council.

"Kyungmi, I won't run for this office either. I am going to graduate this year, so I need to stay. The other seniors might stay as well." Jin told me. "I was going to discuss this with you anyway. But yeah, I really need you here though, hyung." I smiled.

Two weeks later we held the election and Mimi won. Matthew was mad, but after reassuring him, that I needed him here at CA to win competitions he got back to his slimy and arrogant self.
It was a wise decision. She will be the most experienced councillor of the next generation at CA (when the seniors and my grade graduates), sending her away to get some experience will widen her horizon. Nevertheless I was worried, because Mimi was young and a little moody and a bit reckless at that as well.

"You know you can always call me, when there is something off!" I told Mimi for the nth time, while taking her to her platform. She smiled "I do. Don't worry, unnie! You are my first emergency contact."
"Alright. Make sure to call me, when you arrive! And if there is any council work you can't understand, don't feel pressured to..."

I got back to CA after dinner. It was already late and since everyone already ate and went back to their dorms it was rather quite around campus.
Since I already finished my homework during a free period I went to the conference room to do some administration work.

When I was in middleschool I had to study till late at night to finish my homework and study properly for every subject. I frequently worked until dawn, so it became a habit to me to do some work at night when I grew older. I apparently really like it.

As I entered the school building I got a call: Jimin hyung.
"Hyung?"
"Where are you now?" Jimin sounded nervous.
"Going to the conference room doing some stuff. What's the problem, hyung? You alright?" I got to the floor of the conference room.
"Kyungmi! About that, maybe you should not meet him now..."
"Hyung, whom or what are you talking about?"
I went to the conference room and wanted to open the door, when I realized that the door was open.
"The exchange student arrived earlier than expected!" he called out.
"Wha-" I hung up on Jimin as I stood at the open door of the dark conference room seeing a strange person, whose back faced the door, leaning on the conference table.
The unfamiliar person became familiar when he turned around:
"You're late Miss President!"
