Chapter 7

On Monday Veronica and I were walking to the High when I revived a text from the principal.

"Since the unfortunate event from Friday is now being investigated by the police,all students will go home,Riverdale High will open it's doors on Thursday,please be safe."It read.

"That's great!"Veronica said smiling. "We can go shopping!And watch a movie tonight"

"I have a date with Chuck remember?"I asked.

"Right.Well let's go to Pop's for lunch,where's Kevin?"She said.

When we three walked in my room Kevin sat down on my bed and V took a look inside my closet.

"So you have his two gloves?"Kevin asked talking about the black hood.

I nodded.

"And what are you gonna do now?"Veronica asked.

"I don't know."I lied.

"And have you and Jughead talked about it?"Kevin asked smirking.

"No."I lied again.

Then my phone vibrated.

I looked at it and saw a message from Jughead.

Jughead:Meet me at Pop's at 2 there's no time for explanations

Me:ok

I looked up at Veronica and Kevin.

"You guys care if I have lunch with Jughead?"I asked.

They both smirked. "Why?"Veronica asked.

"He has something."I said. "And he wants to tell me at Pop's"

"It's okay,call us when you guys are done because we have to help you with the date with Chuck."Kevin said.

"Right."I said. "Well it's 9 in the morning so we can do whatever we want."

"How about we just be lazy and talk?"Kevon asked and we agreed.

"Hey V,What did Archie tell you on Saturday?"I asked.

"Oh he told me sorry,but I didn't forgive him."She said.

"He lied to you but everyone lies sometimes."Kevin said. "Come on,Give Varchie a second chance."

"Varchie?"She asked laughing.

"Yeah your ship name."He said.

When we convinced her of giving him another chance she called him.

"Ronnie."He said through the phone.

"Archie."She said.

"Hey can you please please forgive me?"He asked.

"Yeah,but this is the last chance,Archie I told you not to fight because you would get hurt."She said.

"I'm sorry,so back together?"He asked.

"I guess."

"Great!I love you Roonie!"

I love you.

The three words I wanted Archie to tell me during a lot of days.

They finished talking and she hanged up the phone.

At lunch time V went to Archie's house and Kevin didn't want to tell us were.

I walked to Pop's and sat on a booth waiting for Jughead.

What did he find?

I heard the entrance bell rang and I turned around.

Jughead walked in and looked at me.

I smiled and he sat in front of me.

"So?"I asked.

"Well,I have a friend named Fangs,and he has a friend who knows a guy that was friend with The Black Hood"He started saying. "The Black Hood skilled his friend's mother one day and they became enemies.Now this guy that was his friend is looking for revenge,and they told Fang's friend were the black hood used to live two weeks ago."

"Where?"I asked.

"A house in the forest."He said looking me straight in the eyes.

I took the photo out of my purse, "meet me at the forest,at 21 am,on Monday."

"Do you think they're related?"I asked and he just looked at me.

"They are."He said.

"We have to go."I said and he nodded.

Suddenly I remembered,the date with Chuck.

"Shit."I said taking my phone out of my pocket.

"What's wrong?"He asked.

"I have a date tonight."I said.

"A date?"He asked.

"Well it's not a date,I need to find something out."I said searching for Chuck's contact.

"You literally said it's a date."He chuckled.

"Look,there's a probability that Chuck is the black hood or is related to him."I said.

"And you had the great idea of having a date with the Black Hood?"He asked raising his eyebrows .

"It was Veronica's."I said and he nodded.

"Well,What are you gonna do?The date with a suspicious boy or the forest with the best Serpent ever?"He asked.

"I'm gonna cancel the date."I said making him smirk. "But if he's the black hood it's all your fault."

He nodded and I called Veronica and then Chuck.

"What's up."He said.

"Hi Chuck..."I said. "I'm sorry but I can't go to the date tonight"

"Why not?I wanted to see you in a s skinny dress."He said.

"I know,and I wanted to see you,but we will have to go another day."I said. "Bye."

"Bye."

I hanged up and Jughead looked at me surprised.

"What was that?"He asked and bursted in laugh.

"I was acting,okay?"I asked.

Pop came and we ordered onion rings and two hamburgers.

"Archie told me you have a special relationship with food."I said and he looked at me and nodded.

"I do."He said making me laugh.
