She took a visit to the mirror and what did she see?
A girl who was weird, often flakes out, and felt empty.
It was routinely, this often occurred
She always saw negative things about her.
Her cries of her shames were never heard
The one thing that was seen was her pain
She often makes herself feel insane
Wails, tears, it's all the same thing..
So why can't she ever often look at herself and not flinch?
Maybe.. she can pour her feelings of pain by poetry and by singing
All she does is feel a pinch
She often tells herself "I'm going to be okay"
So, she wears that perfect smile every day
She often counters her negative thoughts with a positive view
"I go through challenges in my life, and so do you."
