The internal darkness of the way she views the world
Takes away all of the light
The colors somehow turn to black and white
Yet, there are still colors on her clothes
Those feelings of wanting to escape
Get stronger as she goes
Bitter views of the world
Consume her as she develops and grows
She doesn't want to be bitter- no, not one bit
It's only peace she desires
Yet, she will take the hit
To her she feels like she is a limit to this world
Trapped in a cruel fate
The bitter anger once again consumers her
But she cannot breathe- she will eventually suffocate
We all want to fight back
No one wants that part in their lives
"Grow up and be strong" her brain yells
"You can't live in this lie"
You can never be superman without a cape
Yet, she only desires to escape...
