As I gently place my head on the pillow at night
Trying to slumber and not fear
Now, the night time is here
Dreams and visions of a new reality spark
Who knew so much could happen in the dark?
When I finally close my eyes
My visions begin to awake
My thoughts linger- was this all a mistake?
All of my dreams and untold thoughts- they're all so true
I smile in the middle of the night because of someone special like you.
