From the poisonous bitter
To the sweetest "I love you" every day and night
Words can come out in any true form
Either as a gift or as a fright
They say "words can never hurt you"
But your words did to me
As I tried to stand on my own two feet
Your words caught up to me
From the dearest "happily ever after"
To the finest ways of saying goodbye
Words are all around us, it seems
They take the form of the salty tears that you cry
Some may make us,
Some may definitely break us,
My ears were ringing when I heard your voice though
I listened- yet I didn't know what I could've heard
All I know was that it was definitely every single word.
