Later that night I curl up on my bed and scroll through my Insta feed but the boy from the cemetery keeps creeping into my mind, I don't know why but there was something about him that attracted my mind like a magnet. This is ridiculous, I have a boyfriend I shouldn't be thinking about another boy so much. I need a distraction, so I bring up the Netflix menu on the flat screen tv that hangs on my mint colored feature wall, the screen reads 'Continue Watching for Maia' I click to continue watching 'The Tomorrow People' letting Robbie Amell fill up my screen and my thoughts. My brother Maverick insists that he look like Robbie Amell but I just don't see it.

"Hey loser!!!" I hear my best friend, Avery, shouting from my foyer.

"Come to my room!" I yell for my best friend who never bothers to knock.

"Hunter is here too!" Avery shouts, her voice getting louder as she nears my bedroom. Avery enters my room and frowns.

"Nope, nope, nope! You are not staying home on a Saturday night re-watching the Tomorrow People for the 500th time." She scolds pulling me up and off my bed.

"Put on something hot, we're going to a party!" Avery insists pushing me towards my closet.

"But-"

"No buts, except for yours on the dance floor, now go." Avery gives me one last shove and I concede. I love that girl but damn she's annoying sometimes. Either way, I grab my black and white knee length mini slip dress out of my closet. I walk to my bathroom to get dressed. I take off my comfy clothes leaving me in just my undergarment, yet again the boy from the cemetery creeps into my mind. I can't help but think about what it would feel like to have him caress my body, what it would feel like to have his hands tangled up in my hair. Why am I having these thoughts? I slip the dress over my head and situate it so it looks right. I walk back to my room and I'm appalled but not surprised by what I see.

"Geez! You two are like rabbits!" I mutter covering my eyes.

"Sorry! She's just so hot!" Avery enthused swiping her thumb across her lips, looking at Hunter with googly eyes.

"Okay! But on my bed? Really?" I scoff looking up towards my ceiling then back to my friends.

"Hey! Your bed shouldn't be deprived of some action just because your sex life is non-existent." Both Avery and Hunter snicker at the fact that I am still a virgin at the ripe age of 17. I scoff at them while I put on my black peep-toe booties.

"Alright ya bunnies let's go!" I mumble as I pull my long blonde locks into a messy ballet bun.

"Wait! This is Chad's house." I mutter as Avery pulls up in front of my boyfriends.

"YOPP!" Avery mumbles as she puts her matte black Kia Soul into park. I look out the passenger side window and see Chad standing on his front porch holding a dozen roses, I hate roses.
