Poetic Eyes

He's never been one to enjoy poems
He's never written a book
But the most beautiful words are created in his eyes
And seen in only a quick look
A chance to read these words only comes once in a decade
For a someone as rare as him it's well worth the wait

If only he knew how many of these poems were about him
If only I could say how much I really cared
Today could be a day of solem dreaming together
In rememberance of the chemistry we once shared

Your eyes are like an ocean after a glorious storm
Thunder and lightning and shipwrecks galore
Turn into an exhausted and hazy blank page

There's decreasing signs of activity in your beautiful brain
