The argument proves you futile
Feed the truth so gentle
Speak it softly through a verse
Why all the confrontation, love?
Words flow from your aching throat
Do you believe it when you're alone?
Truth flies quiet, free like a dove
Why must you scream all your words?
Truth is all the fire you may need
It doesn't matter who might disagree
Honestly is the control of your world
Why won't you simply converse?
Your calm gives proof to confidence
No more insecurity and defense
