Blazing across the country
By train or greyhound bus
Chasing the west horizon
Run until the sun is behind us
And we wake gazing
Into our tired blurry eyes
And know this wasn't a dream
Like the ones that haunt me every night
If I didn't go in too fast
And I didn't care too deep
Maybe that could've been us
Maybe you could've been mine to keep
The horn blares another time
Until it rings into my eardrums
The breeze makes my eyes squint
To myself I can't help but quietly hum
These hills sing lullabies tonight
As I just hope you'll be alright
Just take a deep calming breath
And don't hope we'll be fine at night

Hollow Mind
PoetryI'm struggling to feel more than numb, They say that time is supposed to heal you but look what it has done. If pain is a void, then I'm completely hollow and undone. Just some random asorted poetry, nothing more than a means of self expression.
