Chapter 31

When I woke up peter was still holding me in his arms. I gently remove his arms then climb out of bed. I walk over to my phone charging and quickly check my text messages. Suddenly I get a text from Nick,
"Hey babygirl. We'll see each other soon!" The text read.
"Peter!" I say from across the room, trying to wake peter up.
He turns around in bed facing me.
"Wh-what's wrong?" He says sitting up.
"Nick texted me!" I say worryingly
Peter jumped out of bed and ran to me. He grabbed my phone and examined the text.
"God I hate this guy!" Peter huffs then hands me my phone back.
"Don't worry Y/N! Everything will be okay!" Peter reassured me. I nod in agreement then looked down at the text
"What are we going to do?" I asked
"We're gonna get rid of that phone so no one can track you, and second we're gonna go back to sleep." He says then yawns
"Peter! This is serious! You could die!" I tell him starting to get choked up about the thought of losing peter.
"Y/n, I'll be okay! I'm Spider-Man after all! Who we need to worry about is you!" Peter says then hugs me. His hug can make all my worries disappear, yet I still had the feeling of guilt.
"This is all my fault." I cry into his chest.
"No it isn't baby-sorry I mean Y/n." Peter says remembering we're not together. He looked down at the floor embarrassed,
"Peter." I whisper, he looked back up at me.
"Ye-yeah?" He stuttered nervously.
"I-" my sentence was cut off when aunt may came barging through the door.
"Who wants meatloaf for breakfast?" She says then realizes I'm here.
"Oh! Y/n! You slept over?" She said confused and suspicious. I look over at peter to help me form a good lie to cover up why I'm here.
"Yeah uh turns out that nick guys a psycho and wants to kill me And kidnap y/n, Tony said it would be a better idea if we stick together because he can't hurt one if the other is there." Peter blurts out. For being Spider-Man so long he still sucked at keeping secrets.
"What!? Peter!!!? W-we need to call the police! Sheriffs, the FBI," May yelled out.
"May!" Peter said which calmed her down
"Tony Stark and the avengers are on the case. If anyone, they can find him. Don't worry, Tony gave me and y/n emergency trackers to call Spider-Man if we are ever in real real trouble." Peter says which makes my heart race go down. May frowned,
"I'm so sorry this is happening," she says then hugs me and peter.
"It's fine. But if you would like to help, you could call and tell the school I can't come until the case is solved." Peter told aunt may, she released the hug and looked at peter
"You aren't just lying to get out of school? Well after you're done being suspended?" She said then raised her eyebrow,
"I promise! And Tony already excused y/n, but they asked if we could stay together until it's solved." Peter said once more to aunt may.
She looked over at me, and gave me a look as if saying, did they really say that?
I nodded agreeing to peter.
"Okay, well since there's basically gonna be another person living with us, I'm gonna go shopping for some dinner!" May says then excitedly runs out the apartment.
I turn to look at peter and a smile appears on his face.
"Peter I need to tell you something." I say looking down then back up at him.
"Yes Y/N?" He asked holding my hands.
"I want to get back together."
