For this fic, I decided to base a lot of things on real people and pre-existing stories (other than One Piece) and so on, just for the heck of it.
You don't need to know any of the other ppl/stories etc to read this fic though, so don't worry about that.
But if you see some similarities between a real thing and this fic, then guess what, it's probably based on that thing. I'll be leaving notes at the end of each chapter these concepts are introduced, plus a list of credits at the end of the last chapter.
If you have a suspicion over which parts are connected to which things, feel free to comment, I promise I will be completely honest responding.
For this fic, I'm trying to go for a slow burn, but idk how that's gunna work out because I haven't ever tried to write a slow burn. Guess we'll see, right?
That being said, I don't own One Piece or any of the characters, or the other works I mention/ include in this fic
