Galaxy's POV (1st P a.k.a. 1st person)
Its time for swordfighting! I can't wait.
But... my first real opponent! Is Shadow. Damn.
He'll probably beat me. I heard from Carl that he was a good swordfighter. And I'm just a novice.
Oh well... I suppose I could live with him beating me.
I would still rather Sophie was my opponent. She specifically said that we were allowed to use powers. So... I don't have powers.
Shadow does though. So he'll beat me.
Shadow's POV (1st P)
I can't wait for Galaxy to humiliate herself! By losing.
But I'm a good swordfighter, and I have powers... people may see it as unfair, but I'll win this fairly.
I'll show them that boys are better than girls for once!
Galaxy's POV (3rd P)
Galaxy walked out to the swordfighting arena.
"I'm so gonna lose," Galaxy thought.
Shadow seem confident when he walked out of the building behind and into the path leading to the arena.
"His huge ego." Galaxy snorted.
Shadow walked up to Galaxy and nodded stiffly. "Galaxy."
"Shadow." Galaxy returned the nod. "Shall we start?"
Shadow didn't reply, instead thrusted his sword at her. Galaxy parried the thrust and used a move of her own, a twist-and-turn with a double slash.
Sophie was right. He was good.
Shadow's POV (1st P)
I walked out of the main building, confident that I'll win.
I heard Galaxy muttering something under her breath which sounded like "His huge ego."
"Hmph." I thought. "Your huge ego yourself!"
I approached her and nodded to her. "Galaxy."
She returned the nod and said curtly, "Shadow."
"Wait till you see how good I am." I thought. The thought cheered me up instantly.
Galaxy asked,"Should we start?"
I didn't answer. I thrusted my at her and she parried it and used a move I didn't recognise.
Quite good. For a girl.
I dodged. Then I stabbed her. At least I tried to stab her.
She dodged it.
I tried to stab her again.
She dodged it again.
I tried to stab her, but on the other side.
She dodged it, but just barely.
I stabbed her with dark energy infused into the sword.
She couldn't dodge it and fell down to the ground in pain. I was ready to call it quits 'cause I won, but she stood up and her eyes glowed white.
"What the heck?" I thought.
