have you ever been really interested in a story, just to find out that it's written like a script?

like it's an actual story - not a texting/social media story. but a story that has people talking to each other?

so you click read, the first chapter is prologue or backstory on the character, then you get to chapter one and see this:

grace: what are you doing phil?

phil: i'm leaving you grace, i can't deal with this anymore!

grace: deal with what phil? being a fucking father?!

like how is that easier to follow than this?

"What are you doing Phil?" Grace asked, walking down the hall behind Phil.

Phil stopped, "I'm leaving you Grace. I can't deal with this anymore!"

"Deal with what Phil? Being a fucking father?!" Grace yelled at him, all the while he was grabbing his things that were by the door.

what the hell would you rather read? because i for one can't stand script writing unless the story calls for it: example being social media stories and texting stories.
