can we talk about face claims for a second?
how many times have you read a story, and it had the exact same face claim as another 10 stories you read?
for example: teen wolf fanfictions that use nina dobrev as a face claim for scott's sister? nina is bulgarian, tyler posey is hispanic... or how about shelley hennig in tvd/to stories? holland roden is in pretty much anything?
why isn't there diversity in casting for fanfics? how many times have you been so upset by the overuse of person in ffs that you backed outta the story?
like there are more than 6 females to choose from for a face claim... i feel like crystal reed, holland roden, shelley hennig, nina dobrev, maia mitchell, lily collins are so frequently used that's is unreal - there are more than 6, but i think i made my point.
there are books dedicated to help you choose a face claim. stop using people that have been used a billion damn times. branch-the fuck-out, my god.
