Never written a creepy story before, this is my first attempt. Never read creepypastas before either, but hey, I'm not adverse to a little morbid angst myself.

WARNING: This chapter contains ANGST, MORBID THEMES, MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH, and does NOT have a happy ending

Yellow was having dreams. Not the same one, but they all definitely had their similarities. They hurt her, pained her, as each one held one thing in common.

Her loved one had died.

Unown would always appear to warn her, tell her that it was about to happen, but she always seemed too late. Now whenever she was awake the demons in her mind plagued her, taunting her, making her stress.

"Hi Gold, can you come over?" She asked over the phone, she was tired, and scared and she really needed someone right now.

"Of course, I'll be right over," he responded and just hearing his voice soothed her.

As the time achingly ticked by she tapped her foot nervously on the floor, her nails digging into the couch cushion. Visions of blood and death painted her vision when she closed her eyes.

There was a click at her door as Gold walked in. She had given him the key so he didn't have to always knock. She heard shuffling as he took his shoes off and all the little sounds he made served to calm her nerves.

He sat on the couch next to her, "What's the matter, babe," he started pulling her into a hug, "the same dream again?" He whispered the sweet words soothingly into her hair.

She nodded against his chest, tears now soaking his jacket. She knew there was probably nothing wrong, but these images, they seemed so real. So daunting.

"I'm not going anywhere," he hugged her tight, "I love you sweetheart."

"You too," she mumbled out between the sharp intakes of breath. She was a healer, so why couldn't she heal the pain?

"You wanna watch a movie?" He asked her, "To get our minds off of it?"

She nodded again, letting him stand up and start a movie. He sat back down, letting her lean on him, the soft rise and fall of his chest was so reassuring.

"That character is such an ass," he laughed, running a hand through her hair. If she was honest she wasn't paying attention to the movie, or his smart comments, she was just glad he was here.

She snuggled into his side, drifting to sleep as a soft hand massaged her head.

"He's dead, he's gone and you couldn't help," voices whispered to her as she ran in darkness.

You're wrong, hes fine!" She yelled. She ran faster trying to outrun the words.

"Yellow..." she heard a voice call her name, "this way," she could hear his voice, it was Gold. She smiled, she knew he wasn't gone, she would find him.

She ran towards the voice, tears of joy littering her cheeks. She could see someone sitting in the distance and her heart leapt, she ran faster to get to him, he was okay, she was okay, she couldnt be happier.

But.

Yellow gasped and stopped in her tracks, Gold was sitting there, but she now realized at an awkward angle.

He was deformed, twisted, the life drained from his eyes and blood spattered around him.

Her eyes widened in horror at the revelation and the voices caught up with her, "Hes dead."

She woke up with a shriek. She was on the couch, Gold's jacket draped over her. Yellow sighed in relief sitting all the way up, the movie was still playing from earlier.

But the house was eerily quiet.

She looked behind her to where Gold had been laying, and he was gone.

When she blinked, Unown showed up in her eyes, spelling out words, "ITS HAPPENING"

She gasped, throwing herself off the couch and out the door, it was dark outside, but she didnt care, she needed to find him.

Never had the Unown appeared in her eyes as real as just then, she had to find him. The dark woods were hard to traverse, she pulled out her Pokegear, calling him.

After a few moments, she heard its chime.

She froze.

Slowly she stepped towards the sound, finding a cave, the ringtone echoes through, before cutting to voicemail.

"Hey, Gold cant answer right now, but hit me up in a little while and I should be free," the voice message relayed, her heart was beating faster and faster.

She felt something wet under her boot, and looked down to find a pool of blood at her feet. Terrified eyes followed the trail further until her eyes landed on a mottled body, barely recognizable as once human.

"Gold?" She whispered, the words heavy and thick as they permeated the air around her, echoing.

Above the body Unown hovered:

"HES DEAD"
