Belle's POV
"Please don't make me go!" I begged Joe.
I slept at Joe's flat last night and he had to take me back home; Anne, my social worker, was coming for a visit.
Joe crouched down in front of me.
"Belle you have to i'm sorry!" he said, giving a sympathetic smile.
"No!" I sobbed. "I'll run away!"
Joe pulled me into a hug.
"No, none of that ok" he said, rubbing my back. "you're going to be brave!"
"I don't want to be brave!" I sobbed. "I want to stay with you!"
"Belle, you need to do this!" Joe said.
I couldn't! I jumped out of Joe's arms, opened the front door and ran down the street, ignoring his voice telling me to come back.
After a few minutes, I bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
"Belle!"
I looked up to see Conor. I burst into tears.
"I was so worried!" Conor said, crouching down. "Joe said you ran off! Why did you run?!"
"I'm scared!" I sobbed.
He pulled me into a hug.
"I'll come with you!" he said. "And i'll even stay there the whole time! Then we'll go out after!"
I gave a weak nod.
"Is Joe mad at me?!" I sobbed.
"Of course not babe!" Conor said. "Now come on, let's go!"
I took Conor's hand and we walked to his car.

Conor and I walked in. Anne was already there.
"Here she is!" Jack said. "She insisted on staying with her uncle last night!"
Well I didn't! Jack said he regretted adopting me! It wasn't my choice to leave. Why is he lying?! And why is Lydia sitting with him?! She's no part in this! She's the problem!
Conor and I sat on the other sofa.
"How are you Belle?!" Anne asked.
"Fine!" I muttered/
"How has she been?!" Anne asked Jack.
"Fine!" Jack said.
"Babe" Lydia said to Jack. "you know that's not true!"
I lifted my head up. What was she going on about?!
"What do you mean?!" Anne asked.
"Well, we've noticed Belle has been quite difficult for a while!" Lydia said.
Sorry, difficult!
DIFFICULT!
How have I been difficult!
"How?" Anne asked.
"Well" Lydia said. "She screamed at me and even hit me!"
"I didn't hit you!" I yelled.
"I don't know if it's just a phase but her attitude has been really poor!" Lydia lied.
"You're a liar!" I yelled.
"Belle calm down!" Jack ordered. "Don't talk to Lydia like that!"
I stormed out the flat. I wasn't listening to any more of Lydia's lies!
I've had enough!
