Belle's POV
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
My eyes fluttered open and I was surrounded by beeping noises. I groaned and stirred around.
Wait! What was going on?!
I opened my eyes fully and saw Jack sitting in a chair next to me.
"Belle" Jack said.
"Mmmmmmmmmm" I groaned, feeling confused.
"It's ok baby girl!" he said. "I'm here!"
"L-Lydia!" I whimpered, confused.
"Ssssh, sssh, it's ok honey" he said. "She's gone for good!"
I took in all my surroundings. I realised I was lying in a bed.
"W-where am I?!" I whimpered, tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Ssh, ssh, it's ok sweetheart!" Jack said, wiping my tears. "You're in hospital!"
I started full blown crying.
"I want to go home!" I sobbed.
Just then, Conor walked in.
"Hey I- um, what's wrong?!" Conor askd.
"She wants to go home!" Jack said.
"Aww babe, we can go back to ours soon!" Conor said.
"No!" I sobbed.
"What do you mean baby girl?!" Jack asked, stroking my hand to try and calm me down.
"I want to go home!" I sobbed.
"I don't understand!" Conor said. "What do you mean?!"
"With Jack!" I whimpered. "I want to go back and live with Jack! He's my dad!"
"Really?!" Jack asked.
"Y-yeah!" I whimpered. "You're my dad!"
Jack gave me a warm smile and kissed my hand.
"Jack, can I talk to you for a minute?!" Conor asked Jack.
Jack nodded, kissed my head and left the room.
Jack's POV
Conor and I left the room and I closed the door.
"So?!" I asked.
"I've seen what losing Belle did you to!" Conor said.
"Yeah!" I said. "It killed me!"
"I see Belle's forgiven you!" he said.
"And i've never been more grateful in my life!" I said, honestly.
"You know her happiness is the most important thing!" Conor said.
"I know!" I said. "I want to make everything right!"
"Which is why" Conor said. "I want to give custody back to you!"
