"A bond to defeat this evil must be formed within aMandla okuThula. Without all seven, you will not succeed."

"I'M SORRY, BUT could you please repeat that?" Jimin asked, eyes widened to its full capacity. "I'm pretty sure I lost you when you said I could perform the impossible."
After bidding farewell to the rest of my team, Jimin and I ran to the back entrance of the building, a place I thought would be clear enough for us to stay unseen in.
As soon as I thought that we were safe enough, I started explaining the short version of things. Apparently, he didn't understand, so here I am telling him again.
"Your necklace enhances a power coursing through your blood that you need to unlock," I started again, shortening my story even more. "This power came from your blood line. Someone in your family is from a planet called ukuThula, therefore making you a descendant of a past ruler of that planet. You're a guardian of a jewel that holds the power to save both ukuThula and Earth, along with seven other guardians. I'm one of them and trust me, every word I just repeated for you is true."
Jimin shook his head in disbelief, twirling the grey pendant on his collarbone between his fingertips. He looked deep in thought, like his whole world was just flipped into something completely different. Honestly, I couldn't blame him.
"How do you know that I'm the rightful guardian of this supposed power?" he asked after a moment of silence. "I can barely fight, nor has my family told me anything about this whole saving the world business. What if you're just telling me a story–"
"After what I revealed in that practice room, what makes you think that I'd lie to you, Jimin?" I shot back, glaring at him softly. "Please trust me. I know that it's a fate forced onto you for many reasons even I don't know myself, but you need to come with us."
He sighed with his eyes closed. "Show me then."
I cocked an eyebrow. "What do you want me to do?"
"Show me this power that I have to unlock. You said you had it as well, right?" His eyes snapped open, glaring harshly into mine.
I cocked an eyebrow. I swear I would slap him if we weren't in this situation.
I held my hand out, showing him a new trick I learnt just the day before. I moved my palm in a circular motion, letting the light above it solidify. Then with a quick swipe, I broke the circle, causing the light to spread into different areas.
It created a firefly effect, surrounding the dark with mini light balls. The view was beautiful and it made Jimin's features stand out more in the contrast.
I noticed how his thick lips were slightly spread as he focused on the lights around us. His light green eyes were running around the place, trying to observe every single broken bright crystal.
Why does everyone on this team have to be so good looking? I complained to myself.
"How did you do that?" Jimin mumbled softly, breaking me out of my thoughts. His eyes were wide and staring at me in wonder. "Do I have the same power? Are you telling me this is because of one tiny jewel–"
